Played for Benilde in college. Very athletic wingman but sadly is ineligible.

As for his offense, he had 4 turnovers, i saw two position wherein he as double teamed and commit turnovers. Unfortunately he had a tough night and it seems they had a defensive plan for sotto whenever he touches the ball. while the other two turnovers were due to very hard defense on him at the top arc where he was forced to only dribble two and didn't get enough space dribble and or to pass the ball and commit travel call. The other one was offensive call after rebounding the ball. Possible a bad call by the ref..but it is what it is. They are all adjusting how the ref calls due to new implemented rules by the NBL. I give Kai 5 of 10 for his offense although he is 1 of 1 or 100% in his attempt he still committed 4 turnovers in just 14 minutes of playing time. HOW BOUT YOU? What's your opinion?
The bolded is correct. Each time Kai got the ball the defense immediately collapsed on him. That's why I said he needs to make snap decisions with the ball right away.

          He's eligible. FIBA ruled so.

Speaking of which, maybe PBA should also force Kai Sotto to play in the PBA first before he can play elsewhere in the world😁

I mean what's the difference between Kai Sotto playing in NBL-Australia & a Thirdy Ravena playing in the B-league? Pareho namang overseas leagues yun.

Remember that howsoever you are played or by whom, your soul is in your keeping alone, even though those who presume to play you be kings or men of power, when you stand before God, you cannot say, 'But I was told by others to do thus,' or that virtue was not convenient at the time. This will not suffice." - King Baldwin IV

Compares to us? Probably. Can we defeat that lineup with Kai plus JC?
Its a good representation of NBL that AUS team and Lebanon handle them wall. We saw how Kai did good defense against Lebanon. So maybe Kai can handle NBL just fine if put on right situation.

How did you know that Gutang will not play for LG Sakers. They are here playing preseason with PBA teams

Lebanon is a well built team. They can probably defeat anyone in the top 3 on a good day.

On defence he's doing a lot better than what people were expecting. It's the opposite though on offence. He's supposed to be more advanced and skilled than what he's shown so far especially when posting up.

Wait he is? Then why isn't he in the pool?

                      • Kai has weak lower body strength. Realistically not really gonna be a dominant post up big. His 3pt shooting still needs work. The team seem to have him basically as a pnr roll to the rim lob threat rather than give him the ball and letting him create. Defensively you can see he’s showing more, doing hard hedges but his footspeed and recovery of getting back to his man isn’t great but at least gives him a better chance in the pnr instead of dropping. His best game so far was in the first match where I believe they got blown out by the other team.

He was kinda disappointing for Benilde. Couldn't lead them to the final four for example.

If they do this right, I dont think this will cause a ban. Remember Cuba had a ban on professional sports for a long time meaning basically players were stuck at home. People like Yasiel Puig and Aroldis Chapman had to defect just to play in the MLB. Anyway point being FIBA never suspended them.
