Will there be a Team in the NT? I was in Alice Springs last year for work where they had 0 cases in that town and the NT had like 3 way back when NSW was having 400 cases a day. Hobart is just way too far from Manila, if the NBL has an expansion... they should try to expand where they can potentially get a young Filipino star like a Dwight Ramos or a JGDL and the distance isn't too far. There was a time when there were direct flights to Darwin. Obviously the problem is the very low humidity and there are probably more people in Navotas than the entire NT.

1. There are currently 9 teams in the league. But 1 expansion team will be added the very next season. Making it 10 teams.

2. There are 28 regular season games each season. 14 home games and 14 away games.

3. Top 4 teams will advance to the semifinals.
First and Second Seed will have homecourt advantage in a best of 3 series. Then the winner of both series will face in the finals in a best of 5 series.

4. Usually, the regular season starts in early October and end in Mid February.

5. Usually, a team will have 2 American Imports.

6. Next Stars Program allows Nbl Teams to sign an overseas nba draft prospect. (Lamelo Ball, Rj Hampton)

7.Special Restricted Player Program allows Nbl teams to sign asian players as local.
