Seriously though can Kai go back to Adelaide and train as early as now?
I guess not, NBL training camp will start next month the earliest, so if he does not play for Gilas for the Asia Cup, Kai will be doing those one on one training or worse, play against chairs (RE: Yi Jianlian)

no nbl teams are preparing for next season as players are either busy with National team, rest, nbl 1 and team line ups are not complete yet..

plus there are no other leagues playing now due to the summer break/off season and fiba windows..So no idea what Kai will be doing for the next 8 weeks

Is the summer league better than the NCAA?

              • so what the hell is Boy Panungkit doing right now? He should play in the Asia cup since his inactivity and lack of real game experience will backfire on him. He can kiss his NBA dreams goodbye. Unless he makes that French unicorn his bitch which is of course highly unlikely.

                • Sayang. I hope Kai change his mind and play for Gilas. But if ever, I think the timelime of him would be like this.

                  2022 - 2023 - NBL Australia

2023 - 2024 - NBL Australia (if he accepts PO) or G league

2024 - 2025 - Let's see if there will be an nba call up. If none, then NBL, G league, or Europe Leagues will be available. As much as possible, I have Asian Leagues to be the very very last options for Kai.

Sir Analyzed, mentioned something about why Kai Sotto will possible not play for Gilas in the FIBA-Asia Cup

Unless Kai will earn more than USD200K a month in Australia and the NBA is not on the horizon then the PBA will be in the mix especially if it allows them to cut ties with EWP. In a way Kai can earn bigger money in the Philippines what with endorsements, a PBA contract with side deals and even God forbid “showbiz” - that is if they decide the NBA is no longer for them.
surely Bleague or KBL will knock on his door?

is a euro career totally out of the picture? probably not now but hopefully in a few years time he could.

My bad. But next time please someone step in earlier. I'm tired of being accused of stuff I never did.

He can return to the NBL, drop EWP if he can, and try out next SL.

Just because Kai is undrafted doesn't mean all that talent left him.

Guess KBL pays more than Germany Division 2.
