As you can see combine invites (including elite camp) are very very good and accurate indicators if a player will be drafted..

IMO, these work-outs (for kai) are SOP for lesser known prospects like kai coz teams aren’t sure what they’re getting and top-tier prospects sometimes don’t need pre draft workouts. We just hope that kai would not bomb the workouts or else his chances will plummet.

Team workouts who didn't get combine invites are mostly for FA prospects, at least 300 players have at least 1 workout with a team. Some teams have invited over 40 players to workout.

What my heart wants (which is obviously for Kai to succeed, drafted etc) is totally separate on citing historical odds data.

We may think it using emotion , but Kai actually has no unique situation any different from the hundreds every year who hoped to be drafted but didn't (none). Hundreds who werent drafted in the past reported that a team would draft him, nothing unique.
Unlikely does not mean impossible. But probability based on verified data is just that citing probability (1 % or whatever)

Remember there are personalities who are incentives to put a spin to things. And yes there are ways to fact check spin. Whether that's spin of Kai , 1..must declare by deadline , 2..kai can withdraw, 3. many teams will draft him, and 4. a prospect won't be invited to combine cause team with intention to pick him won't vote for him, LOL what about the 29 other teams they won't vote for him using their 100 hundreds votes each for both combines.

Why is it that several non-professional blog bois who run mock draft sites think Kai is no better than Satnam Singh? Or that he's a low IQ player? Or that he can't handle NBA physicality? Lol. Tell me more about how the draft doesn't use emotion when Ayton was drafted over Doncic.

Those 4 cherrypicked statements from Bell have been "verified" as false? Were the 12 teams wanting to get a private workout from Kai false? We know he already had a workout with NY, was that false? And 3 of the statements you said were false are all conditional statements, meaning it cannot be verified until the deadline. I don't know if #4 is even true, Bell clearly said that Kai not being in the combine is fine because he's a lesser known prospect who doesn't need more eyes on him as one team has verbally agreed to drafting him already.

It's not discernment if you have an axe to grind with Bell. Think about it, he knows the pressure of having Kai as an assignment, a high profile yet low to unranked player. Selling a player is fine, but an agent outright lying? That's career suicide, why would he do that?

I will stick to my take that Kai is super unique and a very high upside prospect. All those bigs in this draft are below Kai in terms of potential and current skillset. Kai may have to take the more difficult road because he is an Asian but his gameplay will do the talking for him.

Those that cant really process information would easily fall to mere mock writers with no bball credentials.haha the worst thing is that those writers wont even religiously watch games. It is a given that Kai wont be ranked high because he doesnt suit their preference but Kai is definitely great as a player.

I think that is still too low for Kai. I would still set it at late lottery to late first round. Kai is still the ultimate sleeper and steal of the draft.

Mock drafts are really based on buzz and rumors as I always said before. These mock writers doesn't really watch games. It is obvious that there is real interest in Kai.
