Filipino Players in Foreign Leagues

The New York Knicks will have a workout for 7'3'' Filipino prospect Kai Sotto, who is one of the more polarizing prospects in the entire 2022 NBA Draft.
Where Sotto will go in the draft is a complete mystery. You could say that for most draft prospects, but a player like Sotto’s stock appears particularly volatile, as there have been projections anywhere from a late first-round pick to going undrafted.
His size, intangibles, and potential as a shooter make for a very intriguing NBA prospect. Sotto’s a “stretch-5” archetype of big man that New York currently doesn’t have on its roster.
What’s enticing about Sotto is his size paired with his mobility. He’s a prospect who could have a high ceiling, but will need a ton of work and refinement in his game to be an impact player in the NBA. That tends to be the case with a lot of big-men prospects.
Guess they will have a first hand account on the future of Kai, what is written on this article is already discussed on this forum like his projections in the draft and his
Pros and Cons as a player.

People can make all there predictions or takes all they want on anything , just like saying Dallas can still comeback from down three - zero vs Warriors and beat the historical odds, and be the 1st team in 160 teams that were behind by zero - 3 and come back to win it.
what are the odds, of a player since the G- league elite camp was introduced (3 years ago) for a player to be drafted not invited to the NBA combine or elite camp (invite not participate), around 1 in 300 !, yes not impossible of course and there always a 1st. Hope Kai is the 1st. just citing the historical odds.. and yup the system of combine invitations being an indicator would have failed to predict correctly in that 1 time in over 300 invites. yes you can argue this will be the one exception miracle.

Thibs is not known to trust rooks. He'll probably play both for the Knicks and the Gleague at the same time if ever. Honestly, I think that would be the best setup for him wherever team he lands (if he ends up in the NBA next season).
And, yeah, G-League would be the best setup for Kai. I only hope the Knicks culture of losing doesn't affect him.

Yes I will bring up continually. Just to put in proper context all these statements from personalities like Bell , they have to be taken with a grain of salt, it does not really change his true odds .
And here is why those statements are dishonest and unrealistic, if Kai is like a regular prospect who can withdraw after testing the waters as Bell is claiming contrary to CBA , the all of this makes sense. But the thing is, it's not true. It's false , make believe
Bell is making up stories that Kai as.an automatically eligible player can withdraw. It's a mockery of common sense , if you just read the rules and how it is applied. (That's why it's called automatically entered)
