PBA Commissioner's Office lifted the ban on Renaldo Balkman, enabling him to play for San Miguel, just years after an ugly on-court fight saw him try to choke teammate Arwind Santos during a game, because the erring party 'apologized"
PBA rehired a dismissed marketing head, just weeks after it found out she submitted 'spurious documents' when she applied for the position, explaining the decision was due to "humanitarian reasons and exemplary performance."

It remains to be seen if pinayagan ang family niya to migrate, but unless the foreigner is passable in Japanese conversation, mahirap maghanap ng girls that will cater to them. There are many Japan-only "offices" if you know what I mean.

I honestly think Kai would have a chance of getting drafted in 2015 or earlier, the game really has changed since then..
Duren the best center would be a top 3 lock in 2015 , now he might not even be picked in the lottery
Even the average age is much younger now
Zheng BTW was invited to the combine, when you're a border line prospect like Zheng or Kai, keeping relationships without burning bridges with Ignite and NBA and age actually matter a lot.Last edited by DAdmiral; 05-12-2022, 10:34 PM.

Paras
And now Baltazar
Ik, Parks may have issues. So we can set him aside. I am not sure of Paras already matured, but I am willing to at least give him a chance to try out. But assuming Paras and Parks will beg off.
Ravena Brothers, Dwight, and Baltazar will be good National team assets for us bmwith their B league experience.
I am not sure if Carl will go overseas too soon. But hopefully.
Thirdy - Japan
Dwight - Japan
Parks - Japan
Kobe - Japan
Baltazar - Japan
Kai - Australia
Heading - Taiwan
Tuffin - New Zealand
btw, Ricci is targeting to play overseas as well. I hope that Korea gets him, alongside Carl Tamayo.
I agree, this can be a core of our Gilas in subsequent tourneys.Last edited by ja.he; 05-12-2022, 10:53 PM.Attack

Tama naman yun, I've been saying for years no good world level team has it's core national team players just playing in a their domestic league. (Of course don't count US or Spain)
It's really basic logic, if the goal is to improve competitiveness internationally, then one should practice their craft internationally, not locally.. it's true for any discipline.
The next step is high school players over 16 should start developing their games outside of the Philippines..(I'm serious).
We do not have to reinvent the wheel. All these praxrixes and pathways are proven .
If our current way of doing things is correct then why have our results and outcomes been so bad !. Definition of madness..Last edited by DAdmiral; 05-12-2022, 10:28 PM.

Japan is a possibility for both though. And Ricci will flourish there, both on and off the court.

Filipino players playing abroad is good news financially and also for there skills to improve more. Bleague may not have the best local players, but they have a very good system, strong imports without height limit to give them a good challenge and training, and allot of games, and "NO FARM TEAMS and SAGIP KAPAMILYA." And on top of that they are very generous in lending there players to play for there national teams especially fiba games. Bleague , and other Asian leagues are a blessings in disguise to make our players better, make our countries basketball well known, and make them financially secure and contribute to Pilipinas economy.sigpic

I think he skipped draft because he is already under negotiation to play abroad. Maybe its KBL since Korea is watching UAAP. I really hope UP wins so Tamayo can already decide to play professional abroad and not be obligated to return to UP because they lost.
