Saying that people who criticize Givony's assessments don't match up to his credibility and things like trusting an expert over a random nobody is just an appeal to authority fallacy.

Teaser Kouame againsts Kai. An 18yr old against 23yr old 6'11.5 defender looks helpless against Kai's offense.
Also, Coach Allen has a new video out, where he criticizes Kai's qualities.
I hope people will not call him a Pinoy baiter anymore with this one.

I think a better gauge was the calamba bubble clips. The mood in that was serious and pace was intense. Hopefully, we will see longer clips next time.
I think kai could really do well at 18 against all asians teams even against australia, china, iran and lebanon. Only those 4 have imposing bigs who could matchup with Kai.

What is wrong with Pinoy as a whole? We are too enamored with foreigners that we lose our identity as a nation. We take foreigners opinion as the holy grail. If you are that kind, then shove it to your throats. I'll stick to my opinion. You should convince your friends because it wont affect mine.
also, you won't know he is not spending time on kai. maybe just maybe he is not worth writing an article now because as we all know, kai havent played an official game for more than a year now lol

He should have watch Kai's TSF games. Those saying that phenom reports, suvtv analyst and other scouts present watching kai's games as no name bloggers should reconsider their dependence on Givony.lol it is a pity that others cant create their own assessment and just dependent on a writer.haha
I wonder what was his assessment on Zhou Qi at 17.hahaha Qi owned youth tournaments before and was reed thin.lol for sure he will just check the stat sheets.hahaLast edited by PeeZones; 04-11-2021, 04:00 AM.

Givony as a top tier WRITER was looking for strength, toughness and polish ones on youth tournaments.lol you dont see that at that age.haha kung yan lang basis mo sa prospect at that age nakakatawa.haha lebron james or dwight howard lang ang alam nitong si givony.haha most prospects were reed thin at that age. Pau Gasul was a stick at that age.hahaLast edited by PeeZones; 04-11-2021, 04:40 AM.

By Asia levels Zhou Qi is a physical specimen with 7'8 wingspan and decent mobility. So it was not his physicals or skills that was the problem I think. Kai, like most Pinoys, has that love of the game. But he doesnt have as long a wingspan so his laterals should be better.

Question for all here.
Do we all agree that Kai Sotto is our Best Homegrown Local Player Right Now??? (Talent Wise)
I cannot even think who is the second one.
Because I think AJ and Dwight will be 2nd and 3rd talented in Gilas. (But they are not homegrown)
Note: I am excluding Naturalized Player.
If Kai cannot make it to the Nba any way (draft, Draft and stash, undrfated Signing or 10 day contract), then it will be 10-15 years before we can get another LEGIT NBA DRAFT PROSPECT.
Kiefer, Japeth, Kobe, and Parks tried to enter the Nba. But none of them is as legit as an nba prospect like Kai
