The scouting report feels like it's been written by someone who watched Kai for the first time. Some of the weaknesses used to be his strengths but was off for that game and the strengths were just showcased on that particular game but were missing for some games. But a lot of it were spot on.

Agreed. Kinda debunks the notion that mocks know about Kai, which is why I separate mocks and actual scouts by definition in general.

Some of us fans have been following Kai's journey since HS and these guys just watched what, 1 or 2 games? And they are probably scouting someone else's in those games so their focus isn't solely on Kai.

It would be exciting had NBASCOUTINGLIVE put a ranking on our boy Kai. But its too generalized projection of 2nd round to Undrafted. And the observation came from only one game, the overtime win versus Melbourne. The sample size for his projection is one game. The writer should have watched the four games of Kai.

ratings are basing things on collated consensus of everyone , not just one, and it's fact that he is ranked below Ariel based on consensus .

You can't be a solid 2nd round pick . When there are over 90 others being projected to be 2nd round or better (Ariel and Harper jr are mentioned as a 2nd round pick multiple times by others, but they're still not viewed as solid 2nd round picks )

obviously no one knows for sure who the 60 players to be drafted will be , so the only worthy discussion is to determine factually how each players stock is performing. (yun lang naman is what is available and verifiable ) and the reality is Kai is not currently rating consensus in the top 90.,

just because someone is paying you doesn't mean that they own you, plus there is a contract, teams are legally bound to pay their players, it is not due to some moral obligation, Quinito is such a tool

Confirmation of receiving interest from verified scouts is irrelevant to ratings as all of the top 100 have verified confirmation of this , and there is no verified way of checking if one is receiving more calls or interest than others. Really we should be happy that Kai is verified to be one of the hundred or so players that is receiving interest (that is already historic for a Pinoy) exaggerating the interest to suggest that he is a likely to be drafted over 60 other prospects is just plain misinformation and inaccurate .
