What fire is he talking about? Assuming it's even true that Dickel is involved in recruiting players to Japan., what’s wrong with that. Is that a crime?
The best players are in better situations where they can hone their games and feel more comfortable in their roles. The Ravena brothers, Dwight, and Parks are good at their roles, and they're getting experience against FIBA-sized imports.

Their games will be better in the international game because of it. That's why I hope our top prospects leave first for Japan, SoKor, Taiwan, or whatever. You get a chance to develop in a more FIBA-style environment. In the PBA, you won't get that chance.

Someone replied: "Ayusin kasi yung management ng PBA and policy for players to not even consider leaving. Isipin mo top pick and leave basta basta? And you put it na wala syang utang na loob sa pba for not staying? Hindi ata tama yun Sir."
Quinito: "Bayad sila na walang playing for nearly 2 years while thousands lost jobs! Di ba dapat may utang na loob yan? Pilipino ka ba?"

      This guy is a joke.
I'm not really familiar on how PBA players are paid. Is it based on the number of games played?

just because someone is paying you doesn't mean that they own you, plus there is a contract, teams are legally bound to pay their players, it is not due to some moral obligation, Quinito is such a tool

        • The PBA really need to modernize, from top to bottom, its the sign of times that they won't be able to hold or sign some of the best and exciting players.

          • Interesting if he sits 2022,his stock will surely rise, but at the same time Holmgren and Edey will be in the mix in the 2023 draft.

            • Kai needs to be seen in 50-60 pro games in the nbl. The stats and video proof by then cant lie. These will show whether he is a strong candidate or must still be a demo player in the nba development league.

So, he should really finish two seasons with the nbl.

With only 5 pro games in his belt, it really is a waste of time to compare him with other prospects. There is nothing to compare yet. Fighting through eligibilty comments is an even bigger waste of time. If kai shows fantastic results after 50-60 games, enough expert lawyers will suddenly appear to make eligibility issues go away. Money potential vaporizes issues.

              • This is why kai's 40-50 pro games in the nbl will be better than 2-3 times ncaa div1 games.

                Scouts know that.

The men in the nbl will definitely be tougher than ncaa boys. It is just that covid scr*wed game skeds so instead of seeing something like 15 games or more with adelaide already, there were only an inconclusive 5 games.

                • Whoah. Finally an updated scouting report on Kai.

He watched the game against Melbourne.

At least he pointed out both positives and negatives

                  • I'm actually surprised Kobe Paras is the 2nd best 3 point shooter among Filipinos playing in Japan at 33% after Ray Parks (excellent 38%), 33% might be average/mediocre but i think it is already a good improvement in terms of shooting for KP compared to his UAAP days. Dwight, Javi and 3rdy are shooting very poorly from 3 at the high 20's, while Kiefer isn't far off with 30% percent.

                    • Yes, kai knows he is being scouted.

I wish though that he plays like there's no tomorrow. Doncic plays like that.:

The excellent ones count every game, and make every game count.

                      • Can I ask Analyzed/D'Admiral his opinion on this scouting report from nbascoutlive? Do you disagree? Is this review credible? Can Kai actually be a solid second-round draft?

Better than last month when he didn't play and people were saying he is not even a second-round pick.

Sorry...i'm a bit confused...D'Admiral/Analyzed said that putting Kai over Ariel (Hukporti?) is laughable.....but in this scouting report from NBA Scouting Live.....that is exactly what they did.....is this NBA Scotng Live credible.....the authors seem to be credible NBA scouts.....Anything here that I missed?....maybe Analyzed can explain why these seem credible scouts seem to be putting Kai over Ariel.
