A highlight of him playing under chot that time was when he postirized a Qatari player in a pocket tournament in Doha.

Probably KG's best game internationally, against Al Riyadi at the 2018 FIBA Asia Champions Cup

Might be a little bit of a hot or wild take on my part, but that's what I think.
The rim-runner role is all about energy, rebounding, garbage buckets, and to a lesser extent, rim protection. The traditional rim-runner is fairly limited offensively in terms of pure skill and because of limit offensively that teams could not keep them on the floor in tight games. Rim-runners are nice to have, but they can usually be exploited on the offensive side of the ball. When the game slows down and is primarily played in the half-court, rim-runners lose a lot of their value because they usually have a very undeveloped post/back-to-the-basket game. Rim-runners gonna try to pick and roll to the basket and try to draw a foul or wait for a shot to go up and try to get an offensive rebound and garbage bucket.

      • For me Kai Sotto belongs to the the balanced centers. They are hard to come by, most of these players are around average defensively among centers and above average offensively. Basically, you fall into this group if you don’t take much off the table and can do a bit of everything. They’re well-rounded guys that probably won’t get played off the court in the wrong matchup, retaining their value. These guys typically play a pretty heavy minutes load.

        • Tyler Lamb is the Asian Import of Taiwan Beer Hero Bears.

So the rumored PBA franchise player will land on Tainan Ghosthawks.

Comprehend the full context of what I said. Do not omit info that I said CJ has no choice given Humphries is unavailable and Cam cannot play extended min. So it is essential to winning that Kai still get some minutes.
Given that necessity to use Kai it is indeed a risk to give him.extrnded minutes as the team loses more points than it gains while Kai is on the court, this is verified statistically.overall.
Now like many teams with a young player to develop this is a risk teams are willing to take for future benefit

That is why Kai is used similar to how many development players are used , short lease in the 2nd and 3rd quarters and end of 1st .. this is the best time to use them like the Bullets use Liu.
I suggest you 1st try to understand the full.pictuee of what I am saying before jumping to conclusions

There were two statements regarding Kai one for the NBL and one for the interest that NBA teams had on him.

              Misleading use of quote #1
Kai was sought after all over the world as per ADL GM and his agent PRE-NBL. Analyze was insisting Kai is rejected by many and wont go nowhere.lol Burned to ashes!

Second, misleading use of quote . he wont be drafted and doesn't interest NBA teams.lol ADL GM and Kai agent both said they had receive a lot of interest and calls about Kai. Agent even said he will be drafted without playing one ignite game.lol Burned Again!

The negatrons are too quick to blame all the loss to Kai when in reality it was expected. n.
Again you're misleading the point that matters . It's not a question if 36ers officials or Kais agents have made statements which for almost 100 prospects they all have done. nothing special.. and claim it's more reliable than my inside info (that's not the point at all)
But that you're using their statements to mean much more than what they really mean. Essentially you're fooling people . As clearly illustrated Breakers owner statement SRP Li is as a good as an import and coach Shamir statement that Dieng is a franchise NBA player. Both statements while factually it is true that it was mentioned by the officials would be misinformation if you used to mean that it's really true Li is as good as an American import and Dieng is guaranteed to be a franchise NBA player. That is totally taking the statement out of context. Which is what you're doing when you hype agent Bell and 36ers GM statements to mean he is guaranteed to be drafted and highly recruited to be included as part of next star or import level ( this is falsehood already) you're like a salesman fooling people using people with an reward interest for Kai to succeed quotes out of context as a guaranteed sure to happen statement

              • The way CJ is using Kai is similar to how Shamir uses young yet to mature Dieng for the Breakers.
Like 36ers situation resident SF Abercrombie is injured. So out of necessity Dieng is used but in limited stretches to avoid being exploited. (Statistically Breakers lose ground when Dieng plays . however a necessity it is to use the only legit remaining available SF they have.

Similarly Aside from Cam who's not a traditional center, with Humpries out Kai is the only legit real center available left .
CJ just needs to use Kai's serviceability while hoping not to lose to much ground exploiting his not yet developed game

Hopefully that explains better what I meant .

So general rule for developmental players is they can be net negatives for the team, right?

this is embarrassing, expect the peenoise shenanigans to escalate once Kai makes it to the NBA, heck they might even spam vote him to the all star game..

What is out of context on my statements? They said that there is a lot of INTEREST IN KAI and AGENT SAID THAT SEVERAL TEAMs WOULD DRAFT HIM LAST YEAR. That is so clear and not my words. You are the one twisting all my statements. I always believe Kai will be drafted but it is my opinion. I don't insist on my OWN OPINION but put REFERENCE TO SUPPORT MY OPINION. It is futile to argue with someone who cant understand. Ikaw lang naman tung PURO INSIST SABLAY NAMAN. Also, you are the one that resort to making stories of insider info but cant prove such ridiculous claims.

You were insisting Kai would be of no use in ADL but that was not the case. He maybe getting limited minutes but it is the same with almost all rookies. EVen with limited minutes he was impactful and could be 2nd or 3rd in ROY race eventually. Now Dieng is discarded by Analyze.lol He would always most likely be subpar because he is so untested! Kai is one of the most decorated youth prospect in the pool of rookies.
You will always be burn because Kai is LEGIT and IMPACTFUL. Kahit ano pang twist and degrade mu kakainin mu padin yang mga doomsday prediction mo.lol

                        • Ayun, Kobe bounced back, though Niigata lost by 22. 16 points on 5-9 FG (3-3 3PT), but 0 rebounds and 0 assists. Hope he can be consistent now, and that his mind's in the right place. I'd wish he could contribute in areas other than scoring, but the 16 points is good enough.

I think the only person that fits your description in your list is Rey Guevarra. Canaleta and Intal had decent careers, and they are not low IQ players, defensive liabilities pwede pa. Intal even made it to Tab's gilas team so I doubt he fits your description. Underachivers lang sila compared to the hype the had coming to the pros.

Didn't Kai won a UAAP jrs championship in 2018 and named finals MVP?
