Kai better teammate passer > Mobley
Kai Athleticism = Mobley (mobley isnt overly athletic)
Kai Experience < Mobley(toptier competition for mobley eversince)
Kai defense < Mobley (Kai tend to slack on defense these days)
Kai Stamina < Mobley
Over-all Kai >= Mobley (both needs 2-3years to have an impact in the NBA)

Kai didn't even get double figures in tune up games with nothing really on the line. Come on bro, let's be real.
I dont discredit mobley but Kai is very capable of emulating or doing much better if given the chance. Ano bang wala si kai na meron si mobley? Di kaba marunong tumingin. Tell me how is mobley better than kai?

Kai Sotto’s recent trip to the Philippines may have been short, but it was enough to impress some key basketball officials, particularly, Gilas Pilipinas program director Tab Baldwin.
Baldwin feels Sotto could be a great fit for the future of the Gilas program, even side by side with naturalization candidate Ange Kouame.
"I think you'll see that both of them, in the coming years, will be able to play both inside and out. It's going to, I think, create some interesting problems for our future opponents and it's gonna create a lot of enjoyment for our other Filipino players that play alongside these guys that have this versatility," he (Tab) said.
Especially at the Asian level. a 5.4 combo of Ange and Kai is indeed a problem.... of course they can't play the whole game together, maybe for 15 min , with the other 15 min alternating at center.

True, that's the beauty of having Kouame as our naturalized player, he complents Kai and the team well. We're actually moving away from the asa sa import mentality to a team oriented one. Never imagined our frontline would be our strength and not our guards 10 years ago, we've came a long way.

I was running practice ( for NZ prospects in NZ) Tab was in the sidelines observing, ( i asked for his input to observe) , after a few up an down the court.. Tab tells me to stop , for him to give a word.. he then instructs , I know we're leaning toward the modern perimeter game, but let's go down low ( hit this guy ... calls out one of my players) , the next possesions the PG's look for the bigs , entry pass.. the result one team goes on a run..
the point, Tab isn't a one system guy.... he uses what he has at his disposal. of course he chooses and recruits players that can fit what he envisions would be most effective though..
