Remember why are we talking about players with NBA experience ? To illustrate getting playing time this season is more difficult than it was 4.or 5 years ago (2016)
To further illustrate, with 27 experience NBA and maybe 5 future ( in Besson, Dieng Ariel etc ) on average each team has 3 NBA players each. Then add 2 to 3 , Australia and New Zealand World cup/Olympic vets (Goilding , Sobey. Heath, ili etc) so each NBL team.is staring 5 is composed on average of 3 NBA player and 2 Australia National team players. Add a next star each and an Australian B team or NZ national team member to.form the main 7 man core rotation. You can see why that unless you're Zhou or Baba level the chances of even getting 2nd unit bench min (14 min ) is tough.

ok if simply playing 1 NBA game is so easy (and these ex.NBA players aren't old , retiring )
Does the B Leaque have on average 3 ex NBA players (1 game at least) per team?
And do most of the teams have a future NBA prospect ( in top 100 )?
If it's so easy and low level to form teams with this type of NBA experience, where are these teams in any Asian League composed of these # of past and future NBA players?

C'mon it's too obvious
Prior to Kai joining Ignite , we heard no complaints of how lowly or bad Ignite was from.Astig but only praises
Then when he gets Beched all of sudden Ignite and Shaw is bad
Same modus opiradi with Kai and NBL
It was all praise of the NBL and 36ers
Then he gets little playing opportunity
As expected, dish the league, the team.and coach
So too obvious..

I've seen some comments here wanting Kobe to be the main man and the focal point on offense like at the start of the season. However,.. lets be real here. He's not a 1st or 2nd option material right now. The guy is shooting 34% from the field while taking the 2nd most shot attempts on the team behind Rosco Allen. Absolutely abysmal percentage. There's 3 World Imports that can carry the load on offense. What Kobe needs is a reboot. Do the dirty work like crash the boards and stop looking for his shot.

Ganito na lang..
The Philippines has zero homegrown Pinoys who have made a Div 1 rotation (at least 10 min a game average)
On average each NBL team has at least 8 Div 1 rotation players.
You do realize a lot of the bench warmers in the NBL are Div 1 rotation players with G league experience, it puts in context why Kai is struggling to get NBL minutes

there's a reason why Australia is part of FIBA top 5 in the rankings (3rd right?) and finished with a bronze medal in the recent olympics, while the Philippines is around the 30s rank
there's also a reason why we consistently lose to Australia in FIBA games and friendlies
further, if the NBL is a barubal league, logic dictates that a player who can barely crack the rotation is way below/worst than the league's mediocre talent

if Australia is only better than the philippines because of their height advantage, does this mean we could beat team USA (even in a friendly?)
well if Filipino guards are exposed to high level competition on a regular basis then maybe we could say that pound for pound we are better than australia, but until we produce a facundo campazzo or jj barea, small players with high level skills, then we could say we are better, mind you those players are just rotational.players in the nba

And people were right to be worried what would happen when the teams start to figure Kobe out. That's basically what happened. Good ol' Kobe is almost the same even as far 5 years ago when he was a freshman at Creighton. Still mostly relying on athleticism to force up shots. Becomes a negative asset when his shots aren't falling.

For sure the coach had a talk already with Kobe. He's still getting the green light to shoot but he still doing the same things. And he's habits and body language are going the affect the whole team.. he's getting paid like an import maybe it's about time he start acting like one.The message you have entered is too short.
