nbl game is fast pace with physicality. game is fast that next thing you know it’s already finish.. what you saw is 2 of the worse teams in nbl(36ers and cairns).. when you watch the likes of SEM phoenix, perth, illawarra and melbourne you’ll see the difference

NBL is a physical league. Fast paced, quick ball movement and lots of banging.

I think what we should keep track are the stats of the main rotation centers ahead of Kai; stats like minutes, efficiency, rebs, blocks. So we could track his development and his rise from the rotation.

Kai is not getting touches/passes from his team mates. He was open for a lot of times. But could not get those passes. I think Kai needs to earn the respect and trust from his mates to get those touches. Parang takot ipasa sa kanya or ayaw lang ipasa sa kanya because he is out of position

Checking the boxscores he was inserted back into the starting lineup, played 27 mins the 2nd highest minutes on the team, score 7 point on 3 -12 shooting and never attempted a freethrow despite his physical advantages. It's not like the opportunity isn't there. He's not playing for a contender and they can afford to give him all the playing time and shots that he want. He's just not delivering.

Analyze is insisting on ludicrous things. Are you really expecting all real scouts and ADL coaching staff to be that dumb and doesnt employ critical thinking? ADL's issue is mainly because their bigs doesnt really offer any defense.lol if they would review all their games in the coming days, CJ would clearly see the value of Kai. Unless, he wants to transfer to another team, he would surely make adjustments.

Kai could impact the game on both ends of the floor.lol he might not be part of the offense for now but eventually he will find his niche. 2022 prospect big Yannick Nzosa avg was a measly 2pts per game. Kai's defense alone would be his ticket to the NBA and with his tremendous upside skai is the limit.lol

Nakita nga ng real scouts yung Johnny A. Yun pang Kai Sotto with agent di makita ang massive upside and anong kayang gawin.haha lahat ng rookies sa NBL or NBA puro project yan unless gusto mu magdraft ng Luka Garza na almost peak na or yang Besson next yr.

Kung si chet or si banchero lumaro kahapon for sure lumabas na spirito nun.haha yung arms ni Jawai mas malaki pa sa hita ni Chet. Then Kai is way explosive than chet yung mga blocks ni Kai kahit mabilis na guards kayang habulin.lol

Nung nagpaulan ng kabobohan dami mung nasalo kaya ka nagtatago sa mga alternicks mo. Yan ang problema wala man lang critical thinking di marunong magisip. Defense ng bigs and walang maayos na PG ang issues ng ADL.

If they stick with IH and DJ combo, they will be atrocious till end of the season. They should change that combo to either DJ kai or IH Kai.

On the contrary his block shot stat of 2 is overrated , and does not show his deficiencies in team.defense .

He has a goal tend, that gave the team Taipans 2 automattic points, (when was clear a shot wasn't going in). On average even if he played limited min, the team was worse when he was on the court even defensively. This is evident in how many pts per possession 36ers gave up when Kai was on the court as compared to when he is out. The 36ers defense while bad throughout was better when Humpries or Bairstow were in the game..and when Kai is sitting.
Don't be deceived with the highlight blocks, team defense is so much more than that.

Hahaha efficiency when kai is around? Problema ba ni kai kung di dumedepensa teammate niya?haha why blame kai for all his teammates lack of effort. Joke ka talaga analyze. Adl has one of the worst defense in all of NBL eversince.haha front court defense might be the worst when Kai is not around.

Kai's rim protection and intimidation alone is phenomenal.haha saan na yung nathan jawai?lol head to head sobrang hirap yung jawai sa 19yr old.haha

Kai is a truly triple single walking machine. He did put effort playing defense, to be fair. But just as expected, his fanboys are blaming his teammates and coach for his mediocre performance.

This is how I expected from here on out, If Kai played great he will get all of the credit but if he doesn't it's because of his coach and teammates.

The game looked somewhat like a larong barangay, honestly, with the fast pace, bricks, physicality, and some bad decisions. Is NBL basketball like that every game?

Well, I don't think it's a good idea to judge the entirety of the league based on just one game. Australia wouldn't be in top 3 greatest basketball nation if their local league has larong barangay quality.

My opinion. "Mag pakapal ng muka at bakaw sya minsan" He is very shy and not assertive and aggresive. Maybe he is nervous. hopefully the next few games he will have more confidence and get stronger both mind and body. I also hope, 36ers coaching staff will also give a for set plays for him and more minutes. And coachoing staff must allow to play him more at the post , not to much outside since Kai has good hook shot and decent post moves.

If that's the case the team's defensive pts given up per possession should be lower when Kai is on the court, eh..hindi it's higher, Cairns scores more points per possession when Kai was on the court. Stats do not lie , do you understand that stat?

Humpries hasn't looked healthy since, he's actually played limited min. The surprise has been Bairstow play .
So if Humpries never gets heavy minutes (Over 25) I think Bairstow is the player that would benefit most in terms of PT.
(Note I'm not saying Bairstow will play center..CJ will just play Bairstow with Johnson and at times Withers together

Having said that, if the 36ers fall our of playoffs contention early , I think that when Kai will get more minutes as CJ wi be looking to next season

those garbage time in 4th quarter, where the lead was iinsurmountable, Kai should have been given those minutes up to the end of the game for training and to boost his confidence. Instead they put there starter Humphries to finish the game and put there starting center at risk of getting injured. I dont want to make it controversion but tts just me, is it something to do that Humphries is senior or has a very big contract?
