I think kai will be drafted late second round if he can get better defensively, put on some size and strength and increase his stamina.

The way the game is being played right now in the NBA , bigs are getting ran put of the game and are almost unplayable sometimes. Most teams are stocking up on cheap rim running bigs except for a few standouts. The Clips were able to punish the Jazz and the Mavs last playoffs with their speed but met their match with the Suns when they couldn't get Ayton off the floor. I'd be very careful in regards to this of I were Kai
Anyway, Kai's face up game is improving day by day. Especially when he starts hitting his outside shots

3pts, I think he did not regain his confidence yet. But eventually it will go in. He only took 1 3pt attempt yesterday. Hope he will shoot at least 2-3 Jumpers tomorrow.Especially 3pt shot

Originally posted by astigram04In context, this NBL vs NCAA is only being brought up here because people are trying to make comparisons between kai and Chet (and others). So,i was talking levels collectively. We cant nitpick superteams in the NCAA here as they are heaven and earth in comparison to 2nd and 3rd tier teams in the div 1 alone. I think the more simple approach would be comparing that which kai has already played in the NBL vs the teams Chet has already played against.
I think they’re both in the right league as far as development is concerned. Kai improves his physicality playing against grown men and Chet gets to hone his skill set playing against a plethora of highly skilled players.Never look too far ahead. You might stumble on a block right in front of you.

It’s one of the most popular Basketball competitions in the world, but even the champion of the NCAA tournament wouldn’t beat the best teams in the NBL according to two NBL legends.
“I believe a top NBL team would beat the NCAA champions by at least 8 to 12 points,” former NBL MVP winner Rucker said on The Basketball Show.
“We’ve already seen an NBL team on its night when it’s cooking, can go toe-to-toe with an NBA team.
“These NCAA teams can’t even think about playing against NBA teams. It’s ludicrous.”
“I would say the top four teams in the NBL would most likely beat the NCAA champion,” Rucker said.
Shane Heal, an Australian basketball legend who played in both the NBA and NBL, doubled down on Rucker’s assertion.
“I agree. And we can speak from experience. Because back in the day, we used to go play against all the top NCAA teams. We played against Duke, we were at Rupp Arena playing against Kentucky and UCLA all of those teams, and we were able to beat the majority of them,” Heal said.
“Even though we were there playing nine games in 13 days and enjoying ourselves along the way.
“I say Melbourne United would beat Gonzaga by double figures. It’s men against boys. The Perth Wildcats would be as well.
“The thing about Melbourne United, though, is they’ve got men - they’ve got men that have the international experience.
“Those kids don’t know what it’s like to play against men yet. The very best of them will go on and play in the NBA, but as a team, they’re just not ready; they would get smashed right now.”

These statements were probably pre finals, as they zeroed in on Gonzaga. The reigning champ is actually Baylor. The man among boys would always be a valid argument, but as the proliferation of NBA ready, contributing rookies in recent years suggest, young players who can compete at the highest levels are continuously growing in numbers. Just looking at the champion roster of Baylor, you can see these are no longer boys. Davion Mitchell and Jared Butler are both NBA ready, although Butler have this “unfortunate” situation of landing in the Utah Jazz—a contending team that has Mitchell and Clarkson in it. The bigs are fully developed and their weight is at par with those of average NBL bigs. I checked their 3 point shooting and these Baylor guys are shooting at a very high clip.
Tough to say, but it’s not a given that NBL teams beat this Baylor squad that boasts of 2 legit NBA players (Mitchell has superstar potential) and a supporting cast that looks like at least Euro import materials, if not GLeague pros.Never look too far ahead. You might stumble on a block right in front of you.

Watched something on youtube about some euro players making fun/questioning of Kai being included in the top dunk highlights video posted by NBL. Any idea who are those players? I understand for fans to question it but coming from players hmm that's some small dick energy reaction there!Samahan ng mga Bopol ng Pilipinas
