I understand what you're saying, but you have to understand the difference for international prospects.
The difference is they have 4 years from 19 to 22 years old to choose when to be made available.
So going back to Seaqun understand the implication of this option of when to enter. If he had an underwhelming pro season he can simply defer his entry to the next year.
This option is not available for say RJ Hampton or say Nixx of Ignite , if they had a bad pro season as US prospect they have no choice but to enter draft. And teams despite the underwhelming pro season may still draft them as they did , simply because of potential..

That is the point. Now why does this matter for mock draft predictions. A writter who knows an international player who has a bad season knows he has option to defer entry, so he won't predict he will enter and as such will not be included in the mock draft

I'm concerned about Abando's idleness (and all the other college players in the Philippines as well) in nearly 2 years now becoz of the pandemic. That is why having some of these college players in the Gilas pool is crucial since everything is uncertain as far as college basketball in the country is concerned. That long lay off or idleness hamper's a player's development.

If these schools are thinking that they are helping their players by prohibiting them from training with & playing for Gilas, then they are damn wrong.

Remember that howsoever you are played or by whom, your soul is in your keeping alone, even though those who presume to play you be kings or men of power, when you stand before God, you cannot say, 'But I was told by others to do thus,' or that virtue was not convenient at the time. This will not suffice." - King Baldwin IV

Him too. Vuc, JV, Kanter, Nurkic, Boban, Poetl, even old Dwight Howard are strong. You really need to be strong and skilled if you're not athletic to survive in the NBA. And I'm not even mentioning the obvious ones like Jokic.

Me too. A lot of our promising players haven't had any significant games in 2 years. Are they even in game shape? Tagal natengga. Then the leagues would allow them to play beyond the usual age limit to make up for the lost 2 years..

            Juhann Begari
-only averaged 4.8 points, 2.1 rebounds and 1.2 assists per game(2019-2020 season)for the Paris Basketball of the LNB Pro B but was ranked 19th by the ESPN NBA mock draft 2021(August 2020)

            Ariel Hukporti
-only averaged 3.0 points and 2.3 rebounds in 7.9 minutes per game(2019-2020 season) for the Riesen Ludwigsburg of German Bundesliga but was ranked 27th by the ESPN NBA mock draft 2021(August 2020)

            Ibou Dianko Badji
-only averaged 5.4 points, 4.6 rebounds and 2.3 blocks for the FC Barcelona B in the third-tier LEB Plata but was ranked 30th by the ESPN NBA mock draft 2021(August 2020)

And RJ Hampton avg around 8 pts was sometimes mocked ranked in top 8 for his draft year .cause they knew he was entering automatically.

Now if he was an international prospect, he could have deferred and I honestly think if RJ entered thr 2021 draft as a differed entry with a better NBL season he would easily be a lottery pick (yes he's better than Primo now picked 12th)

That is the implication..imagine if Nixx in the list you posted could be included in list to withdraw and defer.
He wouldn't then be ranked 12th in the mock if this was an option after an underwhelming Ignite stint

              • the emperors cup in japan.. this is nice.. like a league cup in some countries.. last season NBL has NBL cup

By sheer luck of the draw, B.League Division II players Kemark Cariño of Aomori and Juan Gomez de Liaño of Tokyo Z will meet their B1 counterparts in the third round of the 97th Emperor’s Cup. Cariño will meet his fellow TMG client Dwight Ramos and Toyama to open the hostilities at the Hokkai Kitayell […]

More common in football leagues around the world, like the FA Cup in England and Copa del Rey in Spain.

Adam Silver said a similar NBA mid-season tournament is being planned. G-League will be testing this, this season with The Showcase Cup

                  • Ultimately, Encarnado chose what was best for Matthew.

“But I’m happy for Matthew because he is a Japanese citizen. Kaya sabi ko, ‘Umalis ka na baka magbago pa isip ko."

Be like Buddy Encarnado. You heard that PBA? Hehe

Before Matthew Aquino signed on the dotted line to play for Shinshu in the B.League, he had one clearance that he needed to hurdle. And it was not an easy one. He needed the nod of his godfather Buddy Encarnado, who is also the team manager of Sta. Lucia. Encarnado had a dilemma. The Filbasket […]

                    • Now this is why this difference in US vs International classification system matters for Kai.draft chances
The US Ignite stint essentially placed him in a situation of one and done prospect, either lottery pick level or undrafted as a 19 yearish old .
Just like his stock was high prior to Ignite (higher than Seaqun) if Kai was a 2023 or 2024 NBA eligible draft prospect, I honestly think he would be mentioned in mocks for 2023 and 2024 . Unfortunately he's in the US one and done boat and not viewed "currently "as a lottery pick next year so undrafted is current popular common consensus prediction

Yeah. Parks chose B.League to get away with the toxic environment here in the Philippines. He needs to find his peace. Besides, he does not have any live contracts at all to any PBA team but only rights. He is not violating any law at all.

Lets face it bro that almost all Pinoy IBNers are huge Gilas supporters, hence if a certain Pinoy FIBA eligible player has questionable commitment with the Phi national team, Gilas supporters here at IBN would expressed displeasure on that player. Nevertheless, I think most Pinoy IBNers here still support Parks' career in the B-league. Though not as much as we support the other pinoy players in the B-league like Thirdy, Kiefer, Kobe, Dwight Ramos. That's understandable.
