  • Dwight is a great baller but he doesnt have the athleticsm. Hes not explosive enough to play against taller and more athletic NBL players. He would be outhustled by these guys unfortubately. Maybe if he was a little bit taller and a little bit athletic. He can play in KBL though and of course import like Kobe in b league. On top of that, hes not good enough to play in euro league either. If he can play the PG, maybe but hes not too good with thr ball, is he? And as far as i know, euroleague is the second best league in the world, next to NBA. And its not easy to play there. You have to be really good. Top US NCAA wind up olaying there after not getting drafted and some drafted players too.

Patrick Cabahug has been lost in the conversation. Did he sign for B League or was it just a rumor?
Agree namn ako dito, but what Im talking is the asian import quota like sir analyzed have mention (Baba and Hiejima status) kaya ko nasabing sure shoo in yun 2. Kaso may salary cap ba dun, kasi multi million yata yun sweldo nina Kief at ray sa B league
To becomes Asia's Best, we need to compete against the World's Best..
      1 Big 4 small > 5 out offense.

For me, Cabahug is TBL-type of Asian import.

          • Congratulations, Dwight. Next up to the B-League. CJ Perez to the B-League was a long shot. Nasa SMC na siya. No way SMC would allow him to leave especially after trading for him. Even Terrence Romeo declined a gigantic 3 year/$2.7m offer to leave for the B-League in favor of SMC.

Next up to the b-league. A big man. Who that might be... Unless it's a talent like Tamayo or Baltazar. It's probably going to be a Division 2 team.

this would mean that the upcoming UAAP season is still in jeopardy of being cancelled, sucks for those who opt to exhaust their final year/s of eligibility

This is good for Dwight but bad for Gilas

Great decision Dweet Ramos. Seek life elsewhere outside the rotting PBA.

Yup. But sometimes we have to take the good with the bad. At least with Dwight & other Gilas prospects in the B-league, these players would be available for the FIBA season which is from mid-June to early September period. The same could not be said about our Gilas prospects playing in the rotten PBA.

plus he would no longer waste a year or two in Ateneo/UAAP where the competition is 2 or 3 steps below him and would affect his development/growth as a player.
