Well, if it's B.League, I hope the team that gets the Filipino player can develop him well.

SK. according to BOTI ( is he credible adelaide writer?) in twitter. Adelaide already have a new coach ready. even before the firing of coach henry.

Do you have any clue who are the possible coaches?

I think after all that has happened with Kobe Paras in the last 3 years or so, its just logical for us to temper our expectations. Honestly, I see Kobe's chance of making it to the NBA as close to zero. But it isn't that significant for me. I won't hold it against Kobe if he doesn't make it to the NBA. I want a much more realistic approach in my projection on Kobe & that Kobe being a serviceable player for Gilas for say 4 to 5 years would already be a good accomplishment for him. Kobe becoming a star player in the PBA (though kobe might prefer playing outside of the PBA) would already be good enough an accomplishment.

Here's my immediate expectation from Kobe: After several months of extensive skills training in the US, I expect a fair improvement in Kobe's game, specially his shooting & ball handling. Now if for instance wala pa ring "noticeable" improvement sa game nya after months of extensive skills training in the US, all I can say is: "Paano na lang?"

With the likes of Lebron Lopez, Caelum Harris, Maybe Mason Amos, maybe Basti reyes, and maybe Femi Edu arriving.

Kobe's threat and competition in his role as a combo Forward in Gilas becomes tougher.

It is funny to think that right now. The spot where there is no much competition is at BIGS. Kai and AJ are a lock if they are available.

Wing Spots. slowly but surely, we are having a lot of candidates.

                • Worth nothing if any of these signings are long term. Thirdy is playing in japan for a couple more years after. They just haven’t been public about cause the PBA but he’s locked up. I wonder if it’s the same for Parks.

i have a better idea, why dont you and the other kai nuthuggers put up a "we love t suck Kai's ..." thread and stay there forever ... pramis i wont post there lol

kai and the nbl are forever tied because he will be playing in that league so its perfectly ok to discuss the nbl here as well since it impacts kai especially the big men signing

Remember he also allowed Japeth to participate in NBA D-League before (G-League currently), He also allowed Kiefer to play B-League even he has 3 year contract at NLEX... It just his men in his group can't handle some of his players properly, Like the Terrence issue... I still hoping Parks will play Gilas in future.. Laking bagay nya when he and Ramos will be spearhead our combo guard position...

All I ask is that people give me the benefit of the doubt and try to know me rather than just rely on what others write about me.”

Hahaha! Another problem for the PBA. Buti nga sa kanila yan. This selfish, insecure & trash pro league deserves these kind of problems.

Hope these problems would bring much needed changes in the PBA for the betterment of Philippine basketball. Otherwise, I would rather see this league to collapse.

As expected, the KBL followed suit. It was only a matter of time.

                            • It’s been a big few days of moving and shaking among NBL rosters.

Analyze has been so wrong countless times. His only claim is that he has insider's info and yet fail miserably most of the time.

All next stars were projected to be second stringers except for jessup. Kai's playing time is almost guaranteed because he and IH were the only capable bigs to play center. Kai could also play as PF with IH.
Other teams were planning to sign two young prospect same with what 36ers were doing.
Hugo Besson wasnt signed as next star when he is way eligible than others.lol analyze was insisting Kai didnt qualify when teams just had other plans.

I dont think the current next stars were paid a lot. If analyze can produce proof that they were paid near Kai's or around 500k, then his claim that it is absurd for 36ers to not push Kai as NS.

Jessup was sign as next star for a second yr same as mojave. Analyze is wrong in this again.

Sam Froling is projected as starting PF. Kai is way better than current froling.

I checked Gapare's highlights against Kids.lol unless they prove themselves in the world stage then we would believe the hype. Kai is proven in the world level. We all know what happen to Tai Wynyard last time.

I am not even impress with Ousame Dieng. I dont really believe on lame mock writers. One writer said that kai would be a defensive big in the NBA based on the Serbia game.

Also analyze claim that an NBL team could add more than the next star offer is also flimsy unless he could provide proof of that practice.

                              • why would it be a violation for a team to pay extra above what the league is already paying a next star player? ( when a next star player is not counted to the salary cap). and if there is no problem paying a next star player more, why would a team not just take and accept what the league offers the player and just add to it.

your suggestion that both the 36ers and Kai would refuse the free money given to Kai if assessed as a next star player is senseless. additionally it makes no sense that the league would not asses a 19 year old if he is qualified as a next star player for the benefit of the league and all the teams ( who want to use a Next star player for their team), it's also senseless if the 36ers can have TWO Next star "level" players (young -future nba prospect) , while others have zero.. defeats the whole point of regulating a equal playing field
                                Sotto is an exciting prospect…
                                BTW what does this mean?
"but this squad needs another solid big. Maybe two."
Feel free to make up a story and spin what that really means , note Kai is not a starter
                                "
