That’s the same thing that the Australian in the hoops forum said man, he said that the contract details are between, Kai, his Manager and the 36ers and that The NBL aren't going to breach privacy and tell me the details. I did say to them that I was not asking for the entire contract details or anything unreasonable, I just want a clarification of the article.

tbh, i dont think it matters how much salary kai makes.

I think so too man, I just want to see Kai excel in the NBL and get drafted next year but this issue needs to be settled.

I did not know that man! Thanks for the heads up but in my opinion things may get confusing if I use that option, like I won’t understand this thread properly if I used the ignore option especially on conversations between IBNers in here.

The thing is there is really NOTHING to disprove . As there really is NO statement of a reasonable "official level" stating any thing definitive , other than a HEADLINE ( not body content) from one single source (not more than 1) from an un official media representative outlet that the NBL has no jurisdiction of policing a mere headline ( it's not even a definitive statement in the body content or the article - BTW i've seen the content of the article for the subscribers, and the contents actually make no mention of the headline, the headline actually is mis leadng as the content actually does not refer to anything about a contract or amount.

It's silly that a Headline from 1 source is the basis of having people to dis prove that it is not correct. There is nothing "tangible " really to correct or disprove.
It would have been more reasonable as something to make fuss about if the article content (body) itself mentioned something about a multi million contract, but no , wala... ( note sometimes even the writer of the article , does not decide what the headline should be, but the news outlet )

BTW there are so many ways a contract can be multi million $ but not really be a valuable as it seems. Example. a 3 year contract can have just the 1st two years as guaranteed at just $ 100 k per year and the 3rd year being a team option worth $ 1,800k with a condition of must be all NBL 1st or 2nd team member. . While total amount looks big , it really isn't in true context.

I know Dadmiral, believe me dude believe me I know. This was said also by the Australians who read it in the Hoops Forum. Everything that has already been said in this IBN thread has already been said and in the hoops forum, their sentiments/arguments are similar to ours in IBN but the guys are hell bent on that one article. The only way for this to be settled is through a clarification, they are looking for hard/concrete evidence. As long as there is no clarification from News AU or etc, people will continue to have that other conclusion that the Majority does not share at all, well there is nothing wrong with it naman. As long as there are no clarifications from official sources, people are free to think and speculate on what they think.

2nd Update on Kai's Salary:

No responses still. I did send a message to Adelaide for clarification on that article yesterday but still no response even if it did had a pre generated/auto generated message saying that they will reply as soon as possible. News Au and NBL has not responded yet. Anyways I will wait for a week before making a next update, if there are still no responses from official sources then everyone is free to have any conclusion. Will keep you guys updated next week.

Not that hopeful, based on Hoops Au NBL hardly replies but so far they did suggest to me to message their CEO in FB. He had some sort of connection with him, I hope the CEO does not mind but if a week later and there are still no responses, then people are free to have their own conclusions, it is what it is.

I understand your point but in my perspective I just don't want to see lets say Dadmiral and this guy is talking and I can only see Dadmiral's comments. It just wouldn't make sense. Yep I am thankful to have a bit of free time right now because I don't have any classes. I am studying Physical Therapy and we have hardly any breaks (trimester). I don't think I would post as much in a few weeks since I will be busy again, it is a tough course after all and if you fuck around you will surely be left behind.
