The writer didnt give an estimate. your twisting again the content. It was signed a multi-million dollar contract. Meaning it was already done. It was not Kai will signed a contract or is bound to get. Try harder now estimate, from benefactor and I wonder what would be the next excuse.

How can we believe you when you were always insisting that Kai would earn around 100k? That is too impossible if I am EWP. I wont take anything less than his last contract. Your 100k is very far from the 400k minimum that Kai would be getting.

Why wouldn't they ask for more than what they'd signed up with ignite? The ignite contract was for a season, came with a college scholarship and had no strings attached. Add to the the fact that when Kai signed up with them, the ignite games were supposed to be exhibition games. So, essentially, Kai was getting that money and scholarship while playing a few exhibition games and then he'll be free to go. With Adelaide it's a 3 year contact that sets them up to a possible "need to buy out". That risk in exchange for 200k?

It has been really annoying and disrespectful to the value of Kai.lol Analyze was always emphasizing here that Kai was not rising star prospect and would only earn more or less 100k.haha I was insisting that EWP wont agree to that and wont accept anything less than his ignite contract. Just to proximate Kai's ignite contract based on his current NBL, it was rumored before that Kai receive at least 200k but might have taken 300. 200k USD to AUD would fall short of a million AUD.

I really dont care about Kai's designation or on what category he will fall. In the end, what matters is the amount of his salary because that would indicate his value from professional teams standpoint and not just mere fans.lol Kai was offered more or less a million euros when he was 15 or 16. It is not impossible that he would get 2M AUD at 19. Adelaide has been reposting articles of same news outfit and related companies.

Kai is earning at least 400k to maximum of 700k AUD. 500k USD is not far fetch and impossible for a full season for Kai. I didnt really expect it to be that big. I was just thinking that it would be equal or a bit higher than his ignite contract. The only difference is that NBL season is longer and that might justify the much bigger pay.

2.) He will play in a big oriented physical league
3.) He will play in a completive league
4.) Adelaide has a great development plan set for him

Plenty of positive things to look forward for Kai, Literally if he will have decent numbers lang guaranteed na 2nd round pick siya or better yet if impressive siya he can be picked as high as 15th. The 4 marquee player limit plus next star (not paid from.team) will defeat its purpose if you can add a 5th player not classified as marquee. There is a reason for the rule .
Otherwise there really is no regulation on how many players u pay the max pay, (and this is what they're trying to avoid for parity and not just have the rich teams horde all the best players money can buy

Why don't people just rely on what is verified already in the NBL website , all the estimate range per classification are all listed verified there already. No need to speculate. There are reasons for all those rules
Those same.verified rules and estimates are what management provides prospects with when discussing offers, same was communicated to myself and Kai's camp. This are standard stuff.

No one is stopping from offering Kai more , just use the right classification, if he is paid like.a marquee player then he should be classified as a marquee player , so it's fair and transparent. (Walang daya).. just sign him appropriately as an open import, as simple as.that .. like they did Hugo
