  • The aussie nbl is the proper "graduation" school for kai. Lots of muscular yet mobile bigs. Aussie prep plus escalation later to an athletic 250lbs, pwede na niya resbakan si monster boban.

I checked the videos, and kai could easily have scored at least ten more points in the paint per game with decent point guards.

It is okay to use less selfish and defense-oriented local guards like tungcab, ravena or spencer at point to optimize kai and ange easy scoring opportunities.

    • Kai playing as a roller in a PNR was almost unstoppable. He had very few instance that he receive a pass as a roller and his finishes were eye popping. When he rolled it resulted to several dunks pero that was tangina halos isa lang per game. May game pang wala kanina si Navarro pa pumasa.haha no one could stop that roll and boban would have a hard time. Kai would just euro or use a floater against him. Nasasayang ang talent ni kai sa gilas if we cant provide a decent guard for him.

      • Pwede ng palitan ni Kai si Bobi and Kp.haha nagsasayang lang sila ng pera kay Kp.haha Kai could do more than Kp. Swak talaga si kai kay luka. Magkasing level ng bball iq and skillset.

Best tandem yan luka-kai.

          • For me, Kai Sotto did a good job... don't expect too much to a kid just turned 19 last May and dominate the Professional players from Serbia and DR . Just be patience for Kai!

            • Needs to work on his stamina.
He can find ways to score but he needs to improve his defense.
This oqt was good experience to him

Kai's stamina is similar to boban or roy hibbert. You manage his minutes that way and use him also that way. That is how you use Kai in terms of managing his minutes.

                • Here is a video on how capable Kai as a defender if he puts effort on it. Anj overall defensive activity is higher but Kai offers other aspect specially his reach and his bball IQ in defending. In that serbia game, kai was way effective defensively against boban than anj.

Well its biology, the taller a person gets, specially in high level basketball the more their stamina is less, more susciptible to injuries, takes longer time to comeback from injuries,so I don't get it why people want Kai to grow up to 7'6.Look at TF,his NBA team is limiting his time on the court, they have all learned, specially in Yao's case but it goes back even the days of Ralph Sampson giants in the NBA should not play too long minutes as much as possible,if you want them to have a long career.

You think the Celtics are limiting Fall’s minutes because they want to prolong his career? All the while I thought it was because he was a defensive liability.
Never look too far ahead. You might stumble on a block right in front of you.

                        • Juan mentioned there's going to be big news next week regarding players going to the B-League. Rumors has it being Javi. If you look at his twitter. Javi is following a B-League Division II team, Ibaraki Robots.

                            • If this is true, the GDL brothers might actually be the main reason why the B.League adjusted their dual citizenship Asian import rule. The GDL bros have both Spanish and Philippine citizenship at birth

The teams did a good job convincing the board. I think the "no dual citizens" was more of a deterrent to get NT naturalized players to play as Asian imports?

At leaat the B League is flexible unlike the PBA. Lol

                              • From Snow Badua's vlog:

Terrence Romeo was offered a contract up to $100k/month in the 3rd year from a B-League team. But he turned it down because of RSA.
