    1. There will be no max rookie salary. If a rookie asks for P420K monthly salary, that can be given by the team.
    2. The draft-dodger rule will be reduced to 1 year.
    3. If a player refuses to sign a contract offer from his PBA team, he will be given a 5-year ban.
They think that will prevent players go abroad? Lmao.

And who cares about being banned by Pba? Lol.

Anyway, their first rule can attract filams/fil foreigns

Sign a contract, you are their slave. Don't sign a contract, you will be banned. Basically, how to scare away the country's best talents

What a draconian rule. They doubled down instead of trying to fix their league. What a joke. Can't wait for the PBA to shut down. It'll be better for Philippine Basketball overall.

Lol don't underestimate being banned by the pba. Its a safety net for these players. 1 injury lang, overseas careers can be over, where to next if that happens?

              • One thing going against the pba right now is uncertainty. College hoop stars who are not even due to graduate are now thinking about joining the b league, even though it is a 2nd division due to the money and chance to improve their game and get game reps. Imagine being ricci rivero who has not played competitive basketball in a year and a half? He must also think about his long term future if he is being offered.

Also since pba is cutting its season short now, that also means less game day bonuses. That should also be a major factor to players when they compute.

I think even non-stars appreciate foreign leagues getting more Filipino players, because there will be less competition for slots in the local pro leagues.

I really cringe at PBA's draft dodging clauses. Like, does the NBA even have these clauses?

Huh, I just asked why he wanted to be with Ginebra when he doesn't like public attention. Ginebra is the team that gets most public attention. Whether we admit it or not, Ginebra is still more popular than Gilas

And Ginebra does fan days/ fan parties/ victory celebration with fans when they win championships.

Makes you think how he will adapt to the fan pressure from Gin fans

                          • You have to envy how easily Serbia send passes to their bigs down low. I think this Serbian team didnt really get their desired bigs for these games. Their bigs rotation is really thin and they dont have another PF to replace Bjelica. They still mostly look for post opportunities. I think this Serbian is really vulnerable. They could be tired tomorrow but we wont have Dwight. It is really unfortunate.

Vulnerable but still too much for our banged up cadets

So long as the guys compete in all 4 quarters and no one gets injured masaya na ako.

                              • Gilas beating Serbis later will be one of the biggest upset on the history. Even if Serbia is injured. We are injured too.

This is a weaker version of Serbia, but still very hard to beat
