-though im optimistic that Sotto will get enough practice time with Gilas for the OQT, but for the 3rd window, they should just not include him in the lineup to protect both parties

We all thought Sotto was still in quarantine and never made it to Inspire the last time. That was until clips of him practicing with the team started popping out. Just saying.Never look too far ahead. You might stumble on a block right in front of you.

But given the circumstance, without team chemistry/proper preparation, despite his talent and potential, Kai's appearance in the AQT might not be fruitfulLast edited by CoJ; 05-31-2021, 10:10 AM.

PS: i still have ptsd from our 2019 World Cup humiliation from Serbia and Italy
fun fact, in the 2000 olympics, team USA had a $1 million bounty to the first player who would dunk on Yao, with the attention Kai is getting from social media, I hope this would not happen to him

Games , after say 2.or 3 days practice , are not to be used to build chemistry and fit a new addition in, simply does not work that way. Doesn't even work for imports in the NBL.
Even if the games are no bearing ..
With Korea your not dealing with match ups but playing against a system. And if you've been preparing to play against the Korean system, then inserting a new player who hasn't been preparing with the team, not only does it impact our chances of winning, but it doesn't help us actually get better. You need decent practice for "tune up games to be beneficial. You don't just throw in a guy and expect him to learn in the fly. This isn't the PBA a throwing in a late import replacement. Doesn't work that way
