        • This is politic ploy, an sga emissary hinting this meesage so that converge can win the bid
To becomes Asia's Best, we need to compete against the World's Best..

          • Snow's not wrong, is he? At this point, Abando should be doing Thirdy Ravena moves and just be milking whatever he'll earn abroad so it won't be too much of a financial problem whether or not the PBA becomes an option. Juan GDL is back from Korea, not sure if it's those quick back and forth trips he normally takes to visit family (there were staff from pressumably Seoul SK who accompanied him to pre departure)... or maybe he's got an offer here that not even Snow knows about.

In any case, we haven't exactly seen what happens to those who stopped playing abroad. In the PBA, the lucky ones make it as assistant coach or get a head start in politics as long as they're relevant enough in their towns. As for Badua... it's nothing new, he only picks fights with people he knows he'll win and doesn't say shit when he knows it'll damage his reputation. That's ruthless journalism.

The thing is, Abando can't do what Thirdy is doing right now because he no longer has any offers to play abroad. I think what his agent said in the past—about having offers from other countries, including the Dominican Republic—was just a bluff. There's no way Abando would choose to sit out for a year or 2 when there were offers for him. I believe they're just trying to create the illusion that there are still offers for him to generate interest from teams abroad. That’s why I think Rhenz denied what Snow claimed, because playing in a lower league like the MPBL would hurt his value and eliminate interest from bigger leagues abroad.

Leaving his team at its peak in the KBL was a massive mistake. He really thought he'd get an offer easily from the B.League, but no one would take a chance on a 6'2" SG with inconsistent shooting, poor ball handling, and just pure dunks. Even Thirdy had to learn to improve his dribbling and he maybe has a higher BBIQ than him although Rhenz is much more shooter than Thirdy. He could have followed the same path as Thirdy, stay on the same team for years, improve, and leave when there is a lucrative offer.

I don't think he left the KBL, he actually served a chunk of his 2-year deal. Maybe the problem was the spinal injury. There are reasons why some players were re-signed or picked up by other teams and why other players get nothing.

Is he even a SG?Doesn't he play an undersize SF in KBL?There was a push from his former Korean coach to convert him to SG,but I guess that just fizzled out.

                  • Snow's back pedaling now. If there are really MPBL teams trying to sign Abando, can't imagine they'll be happy with the way he created that mess

And people are still siding with Snow kesyo Abando is balat sibuyas etc. I don't even like Abando but I think Snow know's about his grandmother's passing and is actually banking on him engaging him so he could get more clicks.

It would be more out of character for snow if he doesn't act like an A grade A**hole.
