That plus big hands.
That crazy wingspan is more useful than an extra 1-2 inches of head height.

"KQ is slow for SF and short for PF," said the performance analyst at the "S" club, who watched Kevin Quiambao at Sono Arena yesterday.
He also said, "KQ has a habit of missing opposing team players and producing a lot of turnovers in offensive as it goes into the second half."Philippine Malditas to FIFA Womens World Cup 2023

Basketball fans who have seen KBL for more than 25 years argue that Sono club should use Kevin Quiambao like Rhenz Abando when he was a JKJ club.
Their argument = 'Using KQ as 3&D'

It’s a bit funny though that even if both KQ and Dave Ildefonso seem to be targeted for a smaller position than they came in, the team doesnt seem disappointed with KQ and instead are hopeful. Not to take away anything from Dave but looking at his game he still has the same weaknesses as before. For some reason I dont think that will happen with KQ.
Everyone was fixated on his 6'3.75" head height.

I think the best way is for him to improve his handles. Good enough to give passes off the dribble and to drive on PFs. He won’t be able to do that if he is bulked up. The first step would be for him to be a driving PF. With this his scoring and passing should offset his disadvantage at the post. He is deadly from 3 as is, developing a 2 dribble move to the paint would be the next step.
