Maybe the Korean style of play suits us more?

With one import and most of their locals are not national team level, easy pickings if the Pinoys really wants to push it to who could be the first to score 40+.

Lets see what KQ brings to KBL. I believe skills-wise KQ is Peace Choi Lite.

But going back to KBL, they are also suffering from talent-drain like the PBA, and there are no assurance that 2 of Korea's best players will ever play in that league in the next years or so:

          Lee Hyun-jung ( BLeague)
Jun Seok Yeo ( Gonzaga, US NCAA )

Does Korea have any future big men?

            Ratliffe retired IIRC

            • KBL is the most appealing foreign league for pinoys looking for opportunity until things in the bleague change or someone explodes in Europe/Australia.

There is good spacing in the KBL, almost all players can score from the 3, unlike in the Bleague where the imports just keep clogging the paint

Koreans know how to fix your shooting release problem. Belangel's coach advised him to change his shooting release because his 3point shot is inconsistent. After that, Belangel's 3point shooting suddenly exploded.

6'11 Jarin Stevenson of Alabama Crimson Tide,. His father, Jarod, is half-Korean, took the Korean name Moon Tae-jong while playing professionally there, and played for the men's national team himself. Jarin lived in Seoul for six years until his father finished his pro career.

                          • Korean basketball is very top heavy in terms of talent. Their elite players are D1 level or higher. But since basketball isn't popular and does not get as much support compared to their other team sports, the drop-off of talent from the elite downwards is steep.

Just imagine they have less than half of our population and then they have so many sports prioritized higher than basketball. The pool to get basketball players from is very limited.

Imo, allowing more imports would be good for their league.
