I stuck around to watch the end game interview with Carl. Very refreshing NOT to hear something like" i did my best, thanks papa gad" -- the standard response of 90% of all Pinoy interviewees.

Good job Carl!
Just like his playing style, nothing fancy,he just worked on it and gets better every time.
I said this before - Carl will be a match-up problem in Korean because he is very skilled and has the physicality to do so. His only problem is that there are times that he is too eager to do something for his own good.

It seems Carl Tamayo is getting better every game in Korea. Obviously the best thing that has happened in his very young professional career is when he transferred from the B-league to the KBL. If he remained in the B-league, he most likely will rot in the bench. Carl won't be getting this much playing time & opportunity in Japan. Not even close.

Remember that howsoever you are played or by whom, your soul is in your keeping alone, even though those who presume to play you be kings or men of power, when you stand before God, you cannot say, 'But I was told by others to do thus,' or that virtue was not convenient at the time. This will not suffice." - King Baldwin IV

Not all collegiate greats get the ending they yearn for. Remember the heartbreaking end to Alyssa Valdez’s senior year? Or Marck Espejo’s final season? It’s the same for La Salle junior Kevin Quiambao. On the eve of the UAAP Season 87 Men’s Basketball Finals Game 3, the 23-year-old all-around forward posted on his Instagram story: […]
