We knew it, Carl may be an overmatch for the Koreans. Yes, he is just around 6'5-6'6 but he is as physical as RDO. I have a sigh of relief when he decided to turn pro instead of remaining in UP. He and KQ are already the top dogs in the collegiate ranks.

            Eh? Not really.

This him standing next to Navarro (listed as 6'6) and Geo Chiu (listed as 6'10). He’s slightly taller than Will and slightly shorter than Geo.

            He’s a legit 6'7-6'8.

According to this guy, Carl's measured at 199cm (just over 6'6") barefoot: https://x.com/baekpd1983/status/1821807300954485099

              • It has been the trend. KBL measurements always seem to significantly shorter than even the players’ “conservative” listed heights.
Never look too far ahead. You might stumble on a block right in front of you.

We'll find out if Carl decides to enter the PBA. Bear in mind, Justin Baltazar, who has been listed at 6'8-6'9, is actually 6'6 when measured.

also, based from the photo it looks like KQ is slightly taller than 6'4 Dwight Ramos, Korean scouts are saying that KQ looks around 6'3.75 only

                      • Speaking of player heights, we now know that more often players are listed taller than their actual/real height on barefoot. Sometimes the height difference is from 1 & a half to 2 & a half inches. I just wonder, what are the real/actual heights on barefoot of Alvin Patrimonio, Nelson Asaytono, Bong Hawkins, Vergel Meneses? They were listed as 6-foot-3 but maybe on barefoot their real heights are between a fraction of an inch above 6-foot-1 to 6-foot-2. Benjie Paras was listed as 6-foot-4 or 6-foot-5 but maybe at barefoot he's only 6-foot-3. Jun Limpot who was listed as 6-foot-6 is only 6-foot-4 & a half on barefoot.

Remember that howsoever you are played or by whom, your soul is in your keeping alone, even though those who presume to play you be kings or men of power, when you stand before God, you cannot say, 'But I was told by others to do thus,' or that virtue was not convenient at the time. This will not suffice." - King Baldwin IV

I think the measurements were really honest in the 90s and 80s.

Ramon Fernandez would be the exception but only because he is still growing now. In his time with SMB he was probably 6’4 but listed as 6’5. Earlier he mightve been only 6’3.

                            • It intruiges me that there are no takers for Rhenz Abando & Jordan Heading in KBL or B-Leaguef. I think maganda naman naging stint ni Abando in the KBL. In the same sense, maganda rin naman laro ni Heading last season in the B-league.

It is because Rhenz Abando did not take the offer of Anyang, as a result, KBL rules say he cannot sign with any KBL team for 1 year.
