    • Former PBA player Shawn Weinstein is reportedly already in Israel to join IDF. He is among thousands of American Jews around the world answering the calls for mass mobilisation. Meanwhile more than 100 British Jews is on their way or already in the ground….

I think he is officially listed as 6’1.5 without shoes. With shoes I guess around 6’3? He looks to be a decent sized guard though. His game seems to be improving. Unfortunately, he is not a highlights kind of guy. The only way I see him being called up is if PBA guys are not available.

Official height is 188cm without shoes, I think. Yep, you're right, 6'1.5".

Oh. That's 6'2. So 6'3 with shoes. Its good he's playing guard in KBL. I think SG will be his international level position. SG seems to be his role in the team.

Are you based in the UK?

If so, can you describe the hoop scene there especially for young fil-brits. Maybe also europe if you have an idea. It's interesting how few prospects we find in the continent.

                      • Not as many as in US and Canada…. Well here in UK, there is the Edu brothers and two youngsters in national youth team system in Wales’ side one is surname is Navarro and other I forgot… Quality wise the level is well below the US of course. And there another one who is currently training with Real Madrid basketball academy…

Thanks for the response. Yes, it's understandable that there would be fewer than the US and Canada. But it seems that New Zealand and Aus also identifies more prospects compared to Europe as a whole. Most likely it's because of groups like DAdmirals who are very active in Oceania. Perhaps if there would be more active coaches/scouts in Europe we will discover more.

Hoping we'll find more great prospects from there.
