If any Asian teams don't want to pay, can PBA stop players for going abroad. PBA will be branded negatively for not allowing players to have a choice in their careers.

err.. kbl for now doesnt have problem on its players transferring to b league (up to Dash case), we all know CBA will never allow theirs to B league.. as for taiwan they have no issues playing in cba.. We do have an issue in pba because outside the 2 empires the pay is really below avrage
To becomes Asia's Best, we need to compete against the World's Best..
        1 Big 4 small > 5 out offense.

Some pba teams can become the Mega Basket of Asia serving as the feeder league of Serbian guys to the nba/euro league... Blackwater can do the same if they level up their farming ways kaso they arent good with it yet..

My question is why would kbl pay a transfer fee when they can get PBA players without it. Unless PBA players under contract.

yes and if there is a resticted free agency like clause for them especially if they willing to renew the player at higher price. This is just to prevent scenarios wher ethey get nothing when the start player bolts out abroad..its like phoenix how can they keep up if they lose matthew wright for nothing

I understand the purpose but why will KBL adhere to it. They can get unrestricted or restricted player anyway without transfer fee. PBA cant enforce it for players without a contract like Matthew Wright. Like the reaction of people here when all of sudden PBA has a new rule on players not applying for a draft. People branded PbA of treating players as their property.

Im surprised they didnt go for Ricci if this is the case. Or maybe they want a more mestizo look.

Torralba will not be complaining about 10 mins of playing time every game. Ricci would? I gues thats the logic

if Kai is already struggling in the B.League, how much more if it is the CBA?
