Actually, this is a wise move by Bolick. If Fukushima will be promoted to the Division 1, his starting salary $ 30-35k will become $ 40k plus bonus.

Hopefully Carl gets a bigger role next season, and Navarro can sign with an overseas team, as he's out of contract.

          Some questions hanging:

          - Kiefer's status after Shiga was demoted to the Division 2.
          - Thirdy's status with San-en after playing 3 seasons.
One thing's for sure, Ravenas wont be in the PBA anytime soon.

            • kiefer got re-signed and thirdy is still on contract. if kiefer does not get signed b the bleague in the future he'll have plenty of suitors in the kbl where players like him are valued

Kiefs and Wright were re-signed by their respective motherclubs.

Maybe the BLeague really isnt best for development? Its early but so far, looks like the KBL is superior in terms of developing pinoys.

Still a better option than the PBA in terms of money and sureness of NT availability in FIBA tournament season. The latter is pretty much the only reason why I want our best to go to Japan, SoKor, and Aussie, and hopefully Europe. Of course, the latter three options are better for development.

Issue with the KBL, though, is most of the guys they need are 1/2/3 players that are 195cm (6'5") and below, if we're going to believe baekpd. Navarro and Balti made Samsung because I think Samsung lack forwards. RJ, Abando, Gutang, and Dave have improved there, though.

The more top Gilas guys in every position we have overseas, the more guys we'll have available for the NT in FIBA tournament season.

The BLeague is the pinnacle financially and hopefully at a certain point that leads to something good but right now I think the other three options youve noted are better.

Well, Samsung is reportedly interested in Will Navarro (again): https://twitter.com/baekpd1983/statu...447542786?s=20

Great news if true. Hope Will can get himself overseas. He'll improve in SoKor.
