Kai has not played organized 5 on 5 basketball in OVER A YEAR NOW. I don't get what EWP is saying. May agenda ba? That comment about "10 days is going to take away Kai's training" when the NBL season is a couple of months away. Playing against Ratcliff, Prosper + OQT teams is a lot better than random scrimmages with pros & ex-pros (na halos walang depensa based on the videos released). I keep seeing excuses na "its just practice so he's not giving effort on defense kaya iwan siya sa perimeter". Then that means FIBA tournaments will be a great exposure for him since there's no excuse not to give 100% of the effort on defense.

Not to mention Kai can stay and practice with Gilas this May up to the end of August(Asia Qualifiers,+OQT+FIBA Asia Cup) making the whole 10 days quarantine even less sense.

EWP is making this harder.. after saying that kai is available for gilas in OQT, ACQ Then they’ll say the iatf and 10 day quarantine? then why they didn’t let kai go to manila much earlier then? abrupt plans? they didn’t know that ACQ and OQT is much better than any scrimmages kai has?

ramos did go to quarantine, expect the same for kai. same treatment.. all the trainings will be useless if you don’t apply it in real game and not in scrimmages..

tab and sbp did say they’ll wait for kai and ramos.. and they set kai at least 3 weeks of training with the team. and the ewp waited until 3rd week of may to response to this..

Kai is Sotto's families bread and butter. Ervin is his main PA. Ervin also checks that kai will be okay and that he does everything according to plan. Kai's case is similar to Jordan Clarkson before that everything would go through his father and his father always travel witH JC. Kai is like Beyonce to them. He is their main business.

MVP I think is good for Kai but SBP heads and personnel are just full of personal agenda. Kai could be in the NBA even without games. EWP have proven that they could get deals for Kai all these time. They could just sell Kai base on potential and with his NBA agent's statements teams would draft Kai. This recent push would just to improve his draft stock but even at his current state he will surely be drafted.

No it's not actually. That's all speculation. Unless you have your sources from the family itself, your opinion is just as good as everyone here. There's no such thing as a #1 Kai fan to be honest with you. We're all Kai fans here, and we're also fans of the Philippine National Team. I can't say the same for you who seem to have a tunnel vision on everything about Kai being positive. Putting Kai on a divine pedestal and you saying we should all thank Kai for gracing us with his presence is asinine. I kindly suggest you form your own opinion instead of being a blind hyper yes man of Kai Sotto.

Tell you this, if you really are a fan of Kai as you think you are then you SHOULD think what's best for him right? Lets take EWP and the Gilas drama out of this question to make it simple for you. Can you refute my statement of Kai going back here, quarantining for 10 days and practicing and playing with Gilas for the Qualifiers, OQT, and Asia Cup where talent level is higher(remember he is challenging naturalized players, other team's centers,) game intensity is higher, and most of all he can be the FOCAL point of the offense than staying in EWP training in the US, doing low effort scrimmages with pros and ex pros for a couple of months until NBL season? Care to refute that, Mr. PeeZones?

Remember this will be the only time for a long while the offense of the team will mostly revolve on him. He is not going to get this many touches or minutes in the NBL I guarantee that. He will be a rookie.
