  • If he was bigger or taller he’d be a better defender.

agree, right now he needs more reps to develop his strength and the shooting potential is still there however I think Kai won't get as agile as Zhou - at 19 - 21 yrs old, this should be the time where Kai should have abundant energy and movement and yet despite all the trainings.. I think shooting is where Kai can improve realistically and will earn him the coveted starting spot moving forward..

In relation to my quoted post above, there is a reason why Abando is the highest paid Asian import in Korea (his incredible jumping/blocking ability). There is a reason why Gutang was signed in Korea (athleticism and his overall utility). There is a reason why RJ was signed there (his abilities are absent to many Korean guards). There is a reason SJ was signed there (he is a good system player).

KBL knows how to scout their Asian imports better than their B.League counterparts

I think Kai is much bouncier than Zhou, even comparing them at the same age..Kai is a lob threat at the Asian region while the latter is not.

credit to his coach as well giving him the keys to the offense. that's a lot of trust letting a foreign rookie run your team's offense from day 1, playing heavy minutes and not benching every time he commits mistakes. he also has great chemistry with his teammates. i noticed lee woo seok (6'5" sg who was last year's rookie of the year) wasn't comfortable deferring to rj in the pre-season/early season but these days they compliment each other really well.
RJ is a shoot first PG, so more Lillard/Curry. Nash is a pass first PG so no..

If Zhou's draft year was 2022, , I don't think he would be drafted and don't think he would make a full year NBA regular roster .
the fans loves him, he looks happy with his teammates that you don?t see on camera..

his jumpshot form maybe is good looking , but my worry is he is jumping so high and is actually sailing forward towards his defenders landing zone. and this may lead him to landing on someone's foot

I was on the edge of the seat watching his game just moments ago. He missed the game-tying free throw. His 30 points has gone waste.

true, Kai has great bounce specially considering his height, in that aspect, he is athletic while Zhou relies more of his longer wingspan

Well, I hope that bonding and chemistry will reflect on the court.

Like Dech now are kinda more willing to pass to Kai this season than last season.

Dech was literally criticized here as the second most ballhog after Hannah's last season
                        Lol.

Now, I think Mitch, Dech, and DJ are the ones very willing to pass to Kai

What do you guys think of Kai's Floaters right now?

Recently, it is becoming his go to move in NBL.

That is a good arsenal to have as a 7'2-7'3 Player

None, maybe Abando but his defense is suspect and he never really worked last time
