XTREMELY good. I mean, like, amazing.
At our local LA Fitness, we are the “home gym” for a few NBA players during the off-season. Amare Stoudamire came in a couple times, and Mike Bibby was a semi-regular.
But, let’s talk about this guy.
Negele Knight. Unless you lived in Phoenix during the Tom Chambers-Kevin Johnson-Dan Majerle era, you have no clue who I’m talking about, which makes sense, because, in NBA terms…he wasn’t that good. He bounced around the league a bit and was never anything more than a backup point guard who played about 8 minutes a game.
At our gym, full of ex-college players (I wasn’t even getting on the floor with these guys…this Quoran was never even high school quality), Negele would run circles around everybody. At 6′1″, he would easily outrebound the 6′6″ guys. He made the small, quick guards look slow and stupid. He shot from several feet outside the 3-pt line.
And you know what? He wasn’t even trying.
I once saw him come in with a bag of McDonald’s, devour a Big Mac, a Filet-o-Fish, a large fries, and a big ass Coke, then go out and humiliate people.
You want to know how good the worst NBA player is? Go into the stadium early and watch warmups. Watch the center that hasn’t played a minute all year stand at the 3-pt line and can shot after shot. Watch the 6′1″ guard jump high enough so his head clears the rim. Watch how effortlessly they make jump shot after jump shot, sometimes while talking to the person next to them, without even looking at the rim.
These guys are INSANELY good.
(which really makes the fat dude in the stands shouting “You suck!” look pretty bad….)

Alvarado and chris ross might have same level of defensive intensity its just tgat joses offense is good enough chris isnt.. jason castro has elite three point shooting and speed but not enough on defense..and think they rrceive more than alvarado can get if we factor taxes and ageent cuts, lodging and everythingTo becomes Asia's Best, we need to compete against the World's Best..
1 Big 4 small > 5 out offense.

This is how the NBA counter small ball these days. It will somehow become obsolete with the arrival of wemby and other bigs. Zion and Giannis has been so dominating and the NBA will need able bodied bigs to stop them. Despite the trend GSW still doesnt know how to integrate Wiseman on their team because they have an ex guard coach. Same thing is happening with Brutus who was a guard in his playing days. Both coaches will always lean to their tendencies and preferences.

A lot of teams will pickup wiseman if GSW will decide to trade him and he will have a better career with other teams.
maybe, we can consider him over whoever is with Washington or Charlotte maybe Utah? but then, those are guard heavy teams. he will have to develop skills that will enable him to play with these guards.
so, I admit, he is good enough to be in the NBA. but it seems people are expecting too much from him. he'll get better no doubt, how much? ewan. if he becomes an all star good for him. until then, he ist good enough compared to other NBA centers(starters).WE DON'T COUNT YEARS, WE COUNT CENTURIES

Robin Lopez? Steven Adams? Sengun?

To connect it with Kai, Kai needs to improve his strength and it will gradually come as he ages. Every player has their own weakness and it is up to the coach on how to mitigate those concerns.
im not going to stop anyone, i havent, if they want to hype or bash Kai as long as its within forum rules. respect what each other think and learn to stop feeding the trolls.WE DON'T COUNT YEARS, WE COUNT CENTURIES
