But if he will do a draft and stash baka mabawi nya yun if he played somewhere else..
Kai was offered way bigger than Todd from the start. He was worth more based on their assessment. I still believe he will be drafted and get relegated to play in the Gleague for 1 to 2 years. Kenyon Martin Jr. was drafted just playing AAU ball with IMG. Kai has way bigger upside than him on my opinion.

Ayun na nga problema he was asseses to be worth more than Isaiah Todd, umalis pa..Todd did make quite a decision decomitting with juawn howard who has ties with miami michigan team for the ignite team..eh yun kulanv ng heat ngayun yin bish like stretch 4..
To becomes Asia's Best, we need to compete against the World's Best..
      1 Big 4 small > 5 out offense.

Umalis kasi may offer din na iba aanhin mu yan naipit tuloy. Wala namang dates lahat yang Ignite and Fiba last year when those were offered. Kai, his family and EWP would least likely to turn down SBP. It was their main benefactor all these years. Delikadeza dapat ng SBP na pinaubaya si Kai sa Ignite. Nauna naman ang Ignite and this window was so unimportant and with all the difficulties in travelling. Gusto kasi nila na manalo sa Korea at the expense of Kai and for sure ang habol na bonus ng mga MVP boys.

No bearing and just for personal motives of the MVP boys. Tab was all over the internet about it last year. From the moment Kai signed with Ignite, he was on a tirade to put pressure on Kai and his team. It is obvious Kai will be the cornerstone of our Gilas NT during 2023 but the first agenda should be that he enters NBA first. The rest should just follow.

SBP, though part of the problem is just a convenient scapegoat for this huge setback, EWP, Ervin Sotto and even the kid himself are liable as well. So thus media and those freaking vloggers who hyped the kid too much thus putting all those super high expectations which became a distraction

Well whatever the excuse is it has left a VERY BAD TASTE in the mouth...and too bad it is at Kai's expense. If what your insinuating is true (prior commitment) then most if not all of the blame should go to both EWP and SBP (MVP group) for not thinking this through properly considering the travel difficulties and the proximity to G league games. They obviously were not looking at the bigger picture (NBA scout exposure and G league development.)

Scapegoat?lol Kai is the only person working for their family these days. They are a family of 5 and living in the US. They would entertain all offers that would come their way. Ervin is also indebted to MVP. He was employed by MVP when kai was with Ateneo. The utang na loob is so deep more than any that Ignite could offer. Fajardo cant even play for Gilas 1 because he was indebted to University of Cebu and they were pro San Miguel. Just a comparison.

They don't care about the NBA. The MVP boys were all after their performance and their preparation for world cup 2023. It a long term program and Kai is the cornerstone of it all. Wala yang pake sa NBA or NBA ni kai. Importante sa kanila sarili nila. Tab was even vocal to train Kai on his own and not let go to the US. The greediness and personal agenda on this was so obvious.

He will be drafted still. I am confident about it. Top ten lottery is nil though.lol I will bank still on late first round to mid second round. Will there be a chance that we play in this year's Fiba U19? that would be a good ground to showcase Kai if ever.

Well with the way events have turned out recently and Kai still irrelevant in mock drafts I even doubt he will be even drafted late second round. But I'll hold on writing his 2021 NBA chances off until I see what his camp's next plan of action will be after this setback.

                              • While I can understand why people can I arrive with the speculation and assumptions made, trust me they're not accurate.

I actually deal with both SBP/"Gilas and EWP.

Will just leave it with that, obviously there are things not to be discussed in a public forum. But will call out things if they are not accurate. Which from the post above some not all are not
