Clown post. I never said I knew who you are. Why are you attributing someone else's post to me? I expect an apology

Ah yes, I think Kai was also able to make those corner 3s before, if opposing centers are going to continue leaving him wide open, then he needs to make them pay

The Golden Kings and Jay Washington have parted ways, the team announced. In a statement, Ryukyu says it signed up J-Wash to beef its East Asia Super League campaign on top of its B.League schedule, but playing time for the veteran has further decreased with the EASL being postponed to March 2023.

Washington appeared in six games for the Golden Kings.

It was reported that there is possibility of Christian David not playing because of continued knee injury. Samsung will make a decision this week including finding a new reinforcement player. KBL allows signing of Asian quota until R4 which is 2023 January.

I've tracked the minutes of players who have switched from NBL, Euro league and B league.
The players samples I used are ; Wetzell Delaney, , Tai Webster and Isaac Fotu . (These are all recent 2020, 21, 22) and are averages (range )

              B league - 31 minutes
              NBL - 22 -27 min
              Euro league-Div1 15 - 20 min

There is little difference to none when a player switches teams within the league (e.g LeAfa Phoenix to Breakers or Yani change Euro team), Expecting Kai's minutes to go up significantly if he moved to another NBL team is assumption ( and does not normally happen)

The data is all there.. obviously there can be exceptions

I think Kai has a good chance of avg 22 plus minutes in CBA
Just my opinion , Kai's minutes won't significantly be higher if he played for another NBL team (I think he would have less minutes if he wasn't playing for CJ and the 36ers , who actually are not deep at center ), Kai's defensive issues limiting his PT , will still exist wherever he plays in the NBL (less of an issue in Asian leagues but more in Euro)

this is based on Kai not being an exception to the norm ( Historical precedence that players mins noramly don't change significantly if they change teams within the same league )
If Kai goes to CBA, his minutes will go up but consider his NBA hopes dead. He's gotta prove it in the NBL, Euroleague/Eurocup/FIBA Europe Cup/BCL, or the B League. At this point, Ben Mbala is having a better international career than him and the latter's not even getting any NBA looks. https://www.proballers.com/basketbal...it-mbala/games

Adamson star Jerom Lastimosa is reportedly being offered a base salary of (equivalent to) close to P700,000 a month in the Korean basketball league.

Needless to say, he's a goner.

Imagine how much William Navarro will be making when he makes the jump overseas.

Both teams are at the bottom of the standings. They observed that the 3 leading teams in their league have Asian players in their roster.

                          SEABA U16 GOLD

Kai Sotto > Christian Kaloko lol

I don't know it's just the way I see it, if I were to look at it based on their current level as a player and how they play now disregarding their

past accolades and whatnot to come up with a more sound judgement between the two players haha

Basically Koloko is a defensive specialist and has zero offense on him besides trail big, put back and alley oops

While Kai is more of a complete player than him right now, shoots 3s, trail big, put back, alley oops, post up games, perimeter and more

all that offense with some decent mobility as a 7 footer to guard perimeters, and slides decently to block shots. Kai is an above average rim protector in the NBL lol

                          • If we're talking simply who is a better player, it is actually very plausible that Kai is a better FIBA player than Kaloko. (no argument there )

The NBA however , especially being drafted is not really about who is a better player , so many other factors are put into consideration .
additionally the 14 players who make NBA full year rosters are not necessarily the top best players a team can get.
furthermore those who get like 10 day contracts are definitly not necessarily better than players in overseas major leagues ( who have guaranteed multi year contracts) , the latter will not settle with 10 days unguaranteed NBA contracts in lieu of their big contracts overseas,

here is good illustration to highlight the NBA is not about simply who is better .
Tai Webster litterally had double the production of RJ Hampton both in the breakers, but the latter got drafted , the former never played in the NBA ( he actually could if he was willing to play in G league and just wait for a call up , sacrificing pay)

same with Abercombrie who is better than Rupert his teamate currently. Obvious why the former will be drafted and the other went undrafted

Xavier Cooks refuses to play in summer league (already done) and will only consider a full guaranteed NBA offer . X can easily get a 10 day contract if he wishes

Tbh koloko fills a need and fits the system the raps have. As much as I would have like Kai on the raptors, he doesn’t really fit what the team needed.
