Note DP (development players) are not counted as part of the fully contracted player. Some DP are amateur (to keep NCAA eligibility) have littierally zero salary declared .

It actually is very possible that less Zhou, Creek and 2 SEM imports (Note their 2nd import is not full year but late addition) and less the DP s (not fully contracted) for the 6 fully contracted other players to share $500k. ($ 65 k average each). Totally possible.
Note also obviously you can replace injured players for your max classified PV (.meaning a marquee or import or SRP and count is not extra for the replacement) Ryan Broekhoff was injured. So essentially Ryan and import Ashley spend was limited to the limited gsmes they played ..

As you can see NBL team tactically manage how many and when the hire imports and marquee players . They basically load up most of their salary alloted based on PV number maximum. And keep to minimum spend the bench .and bring in new import replacement when it matters the.most , playoff run..

Let us take for example SEM PHOENIX based on your logic. QI is getting 600k while Creek takes 400k which leaves the whole roster with just 500k for the other players. If we put 500k for QI and 300k for Creek that is only still 700k for all other players including their imports. YOUR INSISTENCE DOESN'T ADD UP. YOU NEED TO TRY HARDER AND DO YOUR MATH BETTER.
