Filipino Players in Foreign Leagues

Let's look and compare the number of games of the leagues where our Filipino players are participating during the regular season:
B.League - 60
KBL - 54
P.League - 40
LKL - 33
T1 League - 30
NBL - 28
Guys like Baltazar, Greg, and Kobe have more games to prove their worth while Kai needs to prove his worth every minute of his playing time. The shorter the season, the thinner, shorter rotation will be used by their coaches.Last edited by ja.he; 10-23-2022, 11:38 PM.Attack

This probably explains why the pay grade in Australia and may be Lithuania are quite lower than Japan, Korea and China.
Nevermind the competitiveness and the level of play, Japan is the next best destination of our pro players because of so many reasons.

But also, he might need to get stronger, but will need to balance with better mobility.

Too busy to backread everything but on my observation
anti Kai or non-believers who maybe half Filipinos here in this thread are winning the argument.
We, the true Filipino supporters are losing this thread.
Nakaka walang gana, it bores me and hurts me that Ka is benched for 30 to 35 minutes by coach CJ.
I mean whoever you are side with here? Does everyone thinks in here that coach CJ is helping Kai's career?
Winning that argument that Kai will not make it to the NBA in this thread for me means also "YOU" people if at least you're
Filipinos also losing our best hope for a Filipino in the NBA. He is representing us all.
He Kai succeeds we all as well succeeds, at least that is how I would feel.
I think these non Filipinos or half Filipinos from abroad in this thread truly hates Kai. Why?
Because they all points out the negative everytime. I haven't seen them even mentioned the positive side of Kai even for ones especially Gideon and Kokoy.
They are the hardcore of anti Kai. Some mods like big cat likes to portray himself as neutral but I haven't seen him also talk about the positives of Kai.

The money also Kai is earning also suggests he is not a starter and not a major rotation player. A far cry from the big name and established guys in the NBL.
These figures gives us a clear picture of where Kai stands as of now, a role and bench player in the NBL. Its a long and bumpy road for him to attain that NBA dream. He has to prove himself first in the NBL before eyeing that NBA stint.Last edited by CoJ; 10-24-2022, 01:36 AM.

Twin towers are winning the games today.
Jazz twin towers of Markannen and Olynyk, Timberwolves Gobert and KAT and Cavaliers Mobley and Allen.
The more twin towers winning the NBA, the more chances NBA teams will replicate their success and find the next 7 footers out there wherever
they may be playing right now in the world.

Kai does not possess their offensive and defensive skills to be in the NBA. That is why Kai was undrafted because of his deficiencies.

I am just happy seeing that more and more NBA teams put up twin towers of 7 footers or near 7 footers.
It is good for bigs like Kai. It will have an impact all over the world also. I guess Wemby's effect is really being felt very early haha.
Now, I guess that small ball craze is slowly starting to decrease in the NBA especially that GSW I think have already reached their peak last season.
Their 3 main starters are in their late playing careers already especially curry at 34.
Again I am just happy. I have not compared any of those guys I've mentioned to Kai's game.

Based on the NBL top 15 salary leak that came out last week. We can assume Kai Sotto most likely earns within the 60k-120k range.
He is making about the same salary as the average full time working Australian.
Not really ROCKSTAR money at all hahaha.
