I don't get that some people hating Kai... this guy nice and good attitude... napaka Down to earth nung bata eh... If his attitude is someone like Belga or Abueva then i understand that... But his attitude is same as Junmar... Likable na bata and he's not lazy athlete like Kobe Paras... He's doing what he can do to be successful eh... Nakakaawa that some people laughing, hating and criticize him and i hate people who dissing Kai w/o reasons... But i'm sure if Gilas will pick players then i'm sure 100% (even Kokey) will pick unanimously Kai in the line up..

If Carl goes to Japan, I'm good if he has a FIBA release clause for windows, and if he can play at least 12-15 minutes a game as an instant-offense option.

pretty much sums up the general consensus regarding Kai, its the hype and the blind fanaticism that is being targeted/critiqued, not the kid himself. before Kai was compared to all time greats like Duncan, Yao, Gasol and Hakeem, then he was deemed better than Poku, Chet and now Wemby. Now Marc Gasol is the goal post. there's a reason why the kid is not drafted. Further, his current situation, the NBL, despite being benched is not bad!. He is being exposed to world level competition and hopefully now fully aware of what he needs to do. (those TSF trainings did more harm than good for his growth)

Sometimes its not bad to drink a little dose of reality and temper expectations. Luckily the kid doesnt lurk around IBN or he'll get a inflated ego with all those hyperboles

Thirdy with 10 assists in his last game. Hmmm.. didn't watch the game but question for those who watched. Was 3rdy playing the PG position? If 3rdy improves his shooting we might see him play as an import Europe. IMO
