and those other FSA's.
him being the PBA/SBP overall(?) adviser had the inside track to present to his fellow Grandpas about the long term benefits
to those FSA who will be "tag as locals" in the PBA.
and not our domestic league who will benefit for it but also our Gilas program on the long run.
he mentioned in that article about the policy of the Taiwan league on how they treat their own FSA playing in their domestic league
same thing with the B. League wherein Grandpa Willy Wowow is a previous visitor.
someone whispers to me that CTE Basketball are planning to lobby for an exemption on some of their FSA in the immediate future
including that 6'10 Senegalese.
on our own backyard, AK34 are already ripe in the picking because he already obtained his PH docs several years ago.
as for Malick Diouf abd the others well it really take sometimes because no one are lobbying for their(possible) respective naturalization bills
we all know some of those FSA's are already establish their own family here with their respective Filipino wives like Karim Abdul and Charles Mammie
so giving them some sort of the consideration to play here as a "local", is just makes sense.
but the first order of the day, our beloved PBA Grandpas should tweak a little bit their Jurassic Policy on eligibility to accommodate those who mentioned.
PBA are preparing for their 50th Season, so it's about time to change for the future.
they really need to innovate and dance to the latest tune otherwise our beloved league will die a natural death.
now that the B.League are planning to remove all the restrictions come 2026-27 Season to accommodate ballers who carries legit Asian passport
to join their own D-Day.

That system favors players with guard skills and Troy is nowhere close to that.

Also, against NZ I wouldn't say he was great. Yes he was able to get offensive boards but he was too short to attempt putbacks. He couldn't dribble and his perimeter defense was spotty. I still remember Tab going for the big line-up in attempt to get a lead over NZ. Blatche, JF, Rosario, Gabe and a guard. For a time it worked in the paint but NZ then kept on running and we couldn't stop them. If Tab wasn't fired maybe he couldve trained Troy more on handles and perimeter defense but that is not what happened.

I totally agree on all degree on your replies.
for me as you all know notice, are more warm and enthusiastic beyond the PBA
getting a FIBA exemption is one area on it's existing playbook that our designated NF
should really work on moving forward.
those stakeholders like RSA and MVP are also businessmen who manages big businesses in the country
investing and luring talented kids for a possible national team call-up is only one of the main purpose
but also providing them better education in preparation for their life after basketball is also an intention
eventually they could hire them as an employee to their respective companies is a good endeavour as well.
AK34 and QMB for example are not only talented on the basketball court but also had the brains to brag about
who graduated with good grades from their respective schools.
I heard that some of the FSA graduated with good grades and now working in big multinational companies
overall, It will really beneficial not only for our beloved PBA in terms of marketing, competitiveness and parity
but also beneficial to our basketball program both for boys, girls, Men and Women competing against the best
then after their basketball careers they could eventually hire as employees eventually.
Asi Taulava and Kerby Raymundo who now owns one of the biggest poultry shop in Bataan and one of main supplier of SMC Group.
are just few of the best example..."of investing on talented people on life after basketball".

IIRC, the most successful of them all is Sam Ekwe who has a business in the US. Worst case I know is call center, but still being paid well because they know how to speak at least one european language.
Anyway, we really need to consider seeing how we can integrate FSAs into our professional basketball culture. At the end of the day, they can provide something we lack, which is a good mix of height and strength

Dylan Harper is making waves as a top 2025 NBA draft prospect—but what makes him stand out? Is he really worth the hype? Watch now to discover why he could b...
Maybe we can make this kid as our naturalized player in the near future. Problem though is that looks like he's too good to choose to play for the Philippines when he might be good enough to play for team USA.
Freshman pa lang he's already averaging 19 pts per game. Listed as 6-foot-6, perhaps his real height on barefoot is probably around 6-foot-5. But his wingspan is said to be that of a 6-foot-10 player. That's impressive."A king may move a man, a father may claim a son, but that man can also move himself, and only then does that man truly begin his own game. Remember that howsoever you are played or by whom, your soul is in your keeping alone, even though those who presume to play you be kings or men of power, when you stand before God, you cannot say, 'But I was told by others to do thus,' or that virtue was not convenient at the time. This will not suffice." - King Baldwin IV
