Next month is a window , my prediction is Gilas will beat New Zealand, the Tall Blacks are starting from zero, with a new head coach, Flavel and will need to rely on none NBL rotation players ( NBL teams don't allow rotation players in season to play FIBA unofficially ( they come up with some excuse )
the Tall Blacks will be pretty much be the core of the NZ NBL Catenbury Bulls . Line up would be like
Brit, Rustbach, Brown , Darling and Timmins , expect 7 foot teenager Julius and U17 4th place players Jones and Goodman. Too inexperience , they won't win vs a Cone veteran team

No coach Tim, its your PBA that will cause the delay of Gilas training for the 2nd window. If you check the B-league schedule, you'll see that it will take a brief break about 10 days prior to the start of the 2nd window qualifier of the Asia Cup. By Nov. 12, available na po for Gilas training sina Kai Sotto, Dwight Ramos & AJ Edu.
Si Carl Tamayo lang among the Gilas player playing overseas that will be late in joining Gilas dahil may game pa yung KBL team nya on Nov. 14.
I'm just praying that the PBA Commisioner's Cup finals won't reach to a game 7 so that PBA Gilas players would be available earlier than expected. Since Ginebra has a very good chance of making it to the finals, if the finals would go to a winner-take-all game 7 then Gibebra's Justin Brownlee, Iskati Thompson & coach Tim himself would only be available for Gilas training by Nov. 16. That's 5 days prior to our game versus tormentor New Zealand.
Kung bakit pa kasi ginawang best of 7 series ang semis? The semis should have been a best of 5 series na lang.

On the other hand, the B-league sets a "fixed" date as to when it is going to take a brief break to give way to the 2nd window qualifier for the 2025 Asia Cup. The last playing date of Kai Sotto, AJ Edu & Dwight Ramos in their respective B-league teams is Nov. 11. Fixed po yun.
Kumbaga eh, the start of Gilas training would be at the mercy of the durations of the PBA Commissioner's Cup semis & final series.
I hope you get my point sir."A king may move a man, a father may claim a son, but that man can also move himself, and only then does that man truly begin his own game. with unavailability of Jaime Malonzo due to injury
either Mason Amos or Mav Ahammisi are the logical choice to fill-up that gap
Abando and Jordan Heading is still a long shot considering CTC are firm on his final 12 up to 2027
maybe they could add those dudes in next year's SEAG in THA and 2026 AG in JAP
alongside those ineligibles as part of accumulating precious merits for possible exemptions
for 2031 and 2035 WC cycle..

At 2:58, coach Tim is talking about Malonzo's availability by the 2nd window."A king may move a man, a father may claim a son, but that man can also move himself, and only then does that man truly begin his own game. And then there's the NP situation. JB's aging (like I said, he's 36). When he leaves the NT, there will be a lot of holes that he leaves. Additional playmaking, defense at the 3 and 4 positions, scoring ability, and ability to take over games are the biggest holes he'll leave. How will we fill those holes when he's gone?

maybe he could do some shoot around, watch and listen to their plays during the huddles
certainly he will be available but will ride the bench all along.
