The PBA should emulate the B-League (currently probably the fastest-growing and most profitable league in Asia right now) and allow teams to have a slot reserved for either a naturalized player or an Asian import. It would give our naturalized players a reason to stay here and be available to national team duties, and also give our FSA s in university leagues something to aim for.

Although he can shoot, score, and grab rebounds, we will need good defensive guys alongside him at 2, 3, and 5, since he's not a good defender. That means we might need to file for the exemption of a Mike Phillips.
Alongside AJ, fine. But alongside Kai and June Mar, it will be a disaster on defense unless we have good defenders from our perimeter positions.

I can see JB32 becoming part of the coaching staff or even our HC once he retires.

Hoping Erika does her job to get exemptions for Phillips, Lucero, Datu, Laput, and BGR. We need these guys.

I get that they want an NP that carries the load on offense, but the way naturalized player news is going about, it's like he doesn't exist to them and the media. At least Cone gave him a mention as the backup (of course before Snow's report that SBP are recruiting Boatwright).

Tim Cone might opt for a import type ineligible rather than tapping Ange as NP

Interesting just how deep our player pool for FIBA is nowadays, you can actually form a competitive team that can win against CT and HK from those who are snubbed by the SBP
GUARDS:
RJ Abarrientos
SJ Belangel
Robert Bolick
Jordan Heading
Rhenz Abando
FORWARDS:
Arvin Tolentino
Kenneth Tuffin
Lebron Lopez
William Navarro
Mason Amos
CENTERS:
Justine Baltazar
Justin Arana
Ange Kouameお元気ですか?

there will come a time when 6'8-6'9 tweeners will now be common than before.
