That’s ok, that means Arvin will be 33 in 2027 while Kouame is 31.. still on their primes in 2027… CTC’s tenure is just until 2027 (or 2028 if qualified to LA Olympics)… bahala na SBP beyond 2028…

he's aware that edu is injured and brownlee is uncertain he should add more instead of sticking it.

      Brownlee is oldest at 35
      Fajardo (34)
      Newsome (33)
      Perez (30)
      Thompson (30)
      Oftana (28)
      Malonzo (27)
      Ramos (25)
      Edu (24)
      Quiambao (22)
      Tamayo (22)
      Sotto (21) is the youngest

this is good actually, mixture of young and veteran players… we already saw in Gilas 1 of Toroman that all young crew is not enough because having veterans is a must, and atleast we have the likes of Oftana, Malonzo, Edu, Kai, Ramos, Tamayo and Quiambao that can be the core until 2031… looking at the big picture, this is probably the best program that CTC/ Gilas era of SBP did…

Actually, sir SK, Atty. Dy said what she thought in Kume Eala's radio show. She says that sana, we shouldn't have the roster consist of too many 33+yo players. Didn't totally rule out including old guys, but acknowledged that there should be continuity, so we can't have the roster consist entirely of 33-year-olds.

Heading might annoy Cone too much on defense so Im not sure if thats who he'd want. In four years, Kieffer Alas would be 20 and is the kind of tall point guard Cone is looking for. Hope he develops well. Dalph Panopio is 6'1" so he can also fit if development is good.

Tamayo's there. So I guess he's a go for the Qualifiers. AJ is already out. JB is still questionable at this point. I think TC said Malonzo will be back in 10 days IRC. It's weird that TC is confident that JB can play in the Qualifiers despite a sanction hanging over his head. Maybe Al Chua/SBP is doing something in the background?

Perhaps coach Tim & SBP expect that the the suspension FIBA meted against Broenlee is only about 3 months & it started early October hence by early February, Brownlee would be cleared to play.

If Brownlee won't be cleared by FIBA for the 1st window Asia Cup qualifiers, I expect coach Tim to tap Standhardinger as Gilas naturalized player. Standhardinger has familiarity with coach Tim's system on his side plus he has already played/practiced with the likes of Junmar, Perez, Newsome, Oftana in last year's SEA Games.

                    CStand's already retired, though.

MANILA, Philippines—Christian Standhardinger, the high-IQ and high-motor Ginebra star who broke into the Philippine basketball lore by playing for the national team, has retired from Gilas

Ange Kouame's our other NP. He's had familiarity with June Mar, Scottie, Perez, Newsome, and Oftana, as well as with Dwight, Carl, Kai, and AJ.

If this window is really easy, can we do it without an NP?

Hong Kong is very easy opponent… Taiwan is beatable even we don’t have Brownlee… Junmar can limit Artino, since the latter's game is more on inside, Junmar can handle it, and Kai is secondary defender… Taiwan has no other bigs after Artino,

I think Standhardinger won't say no to coach Tim & Long Hair if the two ask him for another stint with Gilas (just one windiow).
