Then she brought up the idea of finally having a professional women’s basketball league in the country.
“The industry is very young when it comes to women’s basketball. It’s gone a long way since the day that I was playing. It’s much better right now,” she said. “But we have yet to see a sustainable professional league.”
She has a point.
well, as I said, we are still in the recovering mood as far as finances are concern despite the fact that there an increase of high level talents not only locally but also internationally specifically players who are already in their Seniors/Graduating years at the US NCAA like VDJ of Duke, Laila Phelia of Univ. of Michigan, Malia Bambrick of Pepperdine U, Mai-Loni Henson amongst the few.
nakakapanghinayang kasi those beauties got games and assuming they haven't got the nod to play in WNBA which only had a few teams now because of some disbandment here and there, I think it's high time already to establish something on the 5v5 side.
a baby steps is worth an achievement compared to no steps at all.

Initially wanted no part of it, but he's a bit of a yes-man.
And yes, he did get us a Hail-Mary Asian Games gold medal. No one can take that away, not even those assholes from the China doping apparatus.
Earl Timothy Cone loves a Ginebra finish. So maybe he'll be a placeholder for that never-say-die weasel Chot.
AHAHAHAHA!Originally posted by BJ_Reloaded View Postsorry I was simply annoyed with that article, why post such a thing if it is not yet the final nail on the coffin.
oh I get it now..for the sake of the views...a clickbait.

It just gives the next coach a short leash to begin with.Originally posted by ARMIR View PostGiven the fan sentiments and setting the goal post higher,if not a succesful year, then we gonna start hearing grumbles by early next year,it will be a 2 year gig at the most.Originally posted by C2Hamm View Posthe picked the realistic choice. when rumors that SMC will take over a year ago or so, majority here said CTC will the most likely choice. still is. nothing new really.
He admitted talking to SBP, though. He just suggested to wait for SBP's official announcement.

Just looking at their moves you would think Heading has a more basic game. Not really speedy or flashy. But he is more effective. But it seems he is still recovering.
If Wright were developed and used as a dual-threat guard who can shoot and pass (which was his role with Phoenix), he might have performed better.

It would have been better if other college standouts like CJ Cansino, Francis Lopez, Mike Philipps were included in the Strong Group team."A king may move a man, a father may claim a son, but that man can also move himself, and only then does that man truly begin his own game. I think it would depend on what his optimal playing weight is. He can test if he will be more effective if he gets a bit leaner as a 2. But I think, as is, he is best suited as a 3 to better utilize his passing. I prefer 2s as the designated shoot-first type.
But again, this is on the offensive side, things have changed. If we can have 2 or more gilas-level players of his versatility then we can truly have a dynamic position-less lineup.
