For the people who watches the NCAA, you guys think Clint Escasmis could be a PG prospect for Gilas? Seems to me he has a good feel for the game and good size.

For the growth of promising Filipino basketball players, KBL is good, and B League is good only for money. This is an irrefutable fact. #GilasYouth #GilasPilipinasBasketball

This game pretty much shows how overrated coach gold is anyways, besides not calling the shots on defense, doesnt make necessary adjustments leading to questionable playcalling. Imagine not winning it all with that stacked team geez.Originally posted by IPC View PostShows that you need offensive adjustments. Man, can't just ride the defense all season.
Young coach pa naman si Goldwin, but he has to expand his playbook.

This probably we want PBA or SBP to do for our youth players

It's invaluable for young players who are not yet pros to get that type of knowledge.

To those who have watched a No. of his games with Phoenix in the PBA, what's your take on Ken Tuffin's game? How is his defense? Can he be anywhere near the defensive skills of a prime Gabe Norwood?
"A king may move a man, a father may claim a son, but that man can also move himself, and only then does that man truly begin his own game. Remember that howsoever you are played or by whom, your soul is in your keeping alone, even though those who presume to play you be kings or men of power, when you stand before God, you cannot say, 'But I was told by others to do thus,' or that virtue was not convenient at the time. This will not suffice." - King Baldwin IV

Time flies I still remember posting a picture here of Tuffin in high school, believe it or not he was a poor shooter then ,
the one advantage he had then is he was already a multiple sport athletes, and moved very well .(cricket and hurdles). He started basketball late , and as such was snubbed by big colleges , ( to their regret).
a.lesson to what to look for in prospects, it's potential, not simply those who are already developed who've benefited to significant exposure ( junior star in local high schools).Last edited by DAdmiral; 12-11-2023, 12:36 AM.
