  • The problem Dwight isnt playing like pippen, he is playing like a disgruntled star player shoots ill advised threes, sucks out the game of all his teammates.. if he cant play like a Andres Nocioni or gabriel deck where he should get his points from hustle and inside points..
To becomes Asia's Best, we need to compete against the World's Best..
    1 Big 4 small > 5 out offense.

As for his shooting, he shoots better in the NT than in his club. 32% in the NT, 27% in club basketball. Kind of like Thirdy, actually.
This is where I dont believe to..

Although he started out playing as a big man, I think Quiambao can play as a 3 right now. Hope he polishes his perimeter defense which would be decent enough for the Asian level. One impressive aspect of his game is his passing which could suggest a very good court awareness.

I actually wasn't that impressed on Quiambao last year. But seeing his games with La Salle in the current UAAP, I feel he's the best college player in Phi basketball right now.
For now, the so-called x's and o's are already there, all he needs now is a constant exposure and experience at the international level to make him the contemporary player we as a fan are expecting..One of the thing I like about the kid is that he is a system player and will certainly blossom with a good coach who had a better program, unfortunately DDO Sr. doesn't know how to use the kid during that forgettable FIBA-Asia Cup.

        • Everyone will be surprised to know if who is the other player who rreportedly "asked for the moon" to play for Gilas in the Asian Games. Yung unang na confirm who asked for the moon is Mikey Williams.

The other one is playing in Japan who is a 6-foot-5 wingman & a certified babe magnet.

Dweet Ramos? Wtf! It's the result of SBP paying too much TF to JC & Kai. Expect other prospects to follow suit in the future. I hope this won't hurt our Gilas program.

Parang sya nga based on the clues provided by a youtube vlogger: walnut & the Golden Gate Bridge.

He played high school basketball at Walnut & he was born in West Covina, California which is near Golden Gate.

              • As Ive said before the only reason these guys get to play in Japan is because of pinoy pride. Playing for the country is only a fair trade-off.

Well, under Al Panlilio, we have a non-idealistic program with no money plus an incompetent SBP President.

Well, MVP group isn't that willing to shell out money as much as SMC does

                            • Let's see if the PBA doesn't force itself without committing to the program. They committed for the WC windows, let's see if they follow through in succeeding big tournaments like the OQT, the 2025 FIBA Asia Cup, and the 2027 WC. If they want to be involved, they need to commit, adjust the sked if necessary.

Also, let's see if the overseas guys. Money or not, we need them for youth. Our best young players are in college or overseas. I'm not counting players like Ken Tuffin, Will Navarro, Jamie Malonzo, and Calvin Oftana, because they're 26-27, which is prime years, although they're relatively new players in the PBA. The players mentioned should still be in consideration, though.
