The biggest contribution of tab isn't the wins imo, its that he was able to send Filipino guys abroad thru his connections. And pba will not die on that as evident in the asiad finals(its liek an extension of a pba) imaghine teh 2 best players in asaid are playing in bayan ng superstars hehe

at the end of the day, the president of the federation should be someone who is 1.) a philippine basketball aficionado, 2.) a person who loves the country and 3.) a person who will have a very good relationship with the PBA, UAAP, NCAA, MPBL, etc... that is the perfect person for the job...

Al Panlilio clearly doesn't fit that mold.. he is just a business management executive...

Panlileo sucks even as a business management executive....he lost a lot of money for PLDT shareholders......no wonder SBP is in a mess since he took over.

To be a credited agent in FIBa you have clearance from SBP. Like any business that want to be accredited needs to have SeC/DTI and BIR registration. Did they submit it? Because that will be vital docs if a case will be filed.

No you don't, there is jurisdiction cover , to operate as an agent in Japan , why would you get accreditation approval from another federation.
obviously to operate in the Philippines you need to get accreditation based on rules of the federation that has Jurisdiction ( SBP)..
anyway thats not really the catalyst on why all thess regulations were suddenly enforce.
anyway regulations can only do so much, especially if one is just reactionary.

If you will be a Filipino agent or company and want to can get a FIBA agent accreditation. They will ask SBP for clearance to check if you indeed legitimate agent in Philippines.

Again , its just an option and anyone can be an agent without Fiba credential like how Balti case.

He took over and the stock rises. Now its down because no such catalyst. Stocks is not an indication of business profitabilities. PHisix is not like any other stock market that relies on TA but more on speculations. Believe me stock will go down even if the company had a good profit. Buy on rumor, sell on news

Especially given that we need to rebuild the team soon. The key pieces from 2013-2019 are getting old. We need to get younger.

This team is fun to watch we relies mostly on defense unlike before puro dribble and iso na ang sakit sa mata.

I hope we go with defense as our primary direction. We had a top 10 defense last WC, and we were great defensively from 2012 to 2015. Build on defense, and offense flows from there.

What I like about TC are: 1. He is more of a defensive coach 2. He usually has 2 plan of attacks in important games. This is how he won with SMC with a team not as talented as SMB or GSM now. He might have pressung guard oriented game. He may let Ian or De Vance or Ping score in the post. He wont panic if the lead is big. He will slowly whittle it down with D. Then in the end game his players will execute and get the W.
