Yes they definitely are , they just have to go thru process of submitting their names and getting official clearance as a local from FIBA, as we speak this is still be arranged.
FIBA local clearance is absolutely a requirement for the B league to play as an Asian import

Correct me also if i am wrong your saying handlers of filams like Mike Philips will not want them to be recognized as a local for them to avoid going to B. League. Is that correct?
totally messed up thinking, players don't stop negotiating for good offers , (as i said many fil foreigners are already doing this as we speak) , while not yet getting officially their FIBA clearance, obviously the one's who are seriously negotiating like Spencer etc, know they are likely to get that clearance once their names are officially submitted and a local fiba ID is issued. SBP is the only one who can submit names for clearance. (obviosuly the agents want local recognition, but problem is they are dependent on the SBP cooperating. , but issue is SBP who are essentially the PBA have their own interest (to keep players in PBA) and so it's not to their interest to work on official clearance or exceptions

Eventually, they will process the clearance of Tuffin, Philips, Ballungay, Lucero and Kouame eventually as they will need these guys in Gilas someday.

But note for players like Kouame, Philips, they have to have an accompanied exemption letter from Sec gen to be included when name is submitted for clearance. Otherwise they will be classified as a NP.

And as for the roster, yes. We built this team to win in the Asian Games, so we needed to go all in.
Yes, we still need to get younger for future tournaments, otherwise we will have roster turnover after roster turnover after roster turnover. Marcio and Japeth are 36, Brownlee's 35, Ross is 38, Newsome's 33, June Mar turns 34 in November, Alas turns 32 in November, Scottie's 30, CJ turns 30 in November.

Wouldnt it be funny if the B league and KBL found out about this and they tweak their rules to be more laxed like only requiring players a philippine passport to be allowed to qualify as an asian import lol

So this is more of your opinion that actual facts o is happening. Your the one who is thinking some messed up accusations. If what you say about SBP is true, Terrafirma and PBA could have prevented Adams with Fiba clearance. Yet they did not and thats the truth

KBL already has this. Their only requirement is both parents is Asian descent.

What they can is to let Philips exhaust all years of his eligibility in UAAP. Let him join in the PBA draft with Northport or Terrafirma draft him. In 2-3 years time, he will be traded an SMC team. After that, they will push for his exemption.

Jamie Malonzo is my example here. During his DLSU and Northport days, we all thought that he is ineligible. After his transfer to Ginebra, all of a sudden, he has his PH passport pala since he was kid.

                      • Actually according to one B league agent they're considering changing their eligibility rules , how soon. Will see
it's not automatic if you play in U18 , you will classified as a local in seniors , do note a few of our youth players in the past were actually classified as NP while in their youth team (won't disclose names)
also do note Wright despite already playing in U18 youth, had to sill get clearance to play as a local in Senior Gilas. Obviously it's more formality but still clearance is required.

Both Parents need a passport I think. This is why David was eligible despite not being Gilas eligible. I think it has always been that way. My guess is 1GDL had both his parents get a passport instead of just one so his eligibility was just delayed.

there is a reason why some fil foreigners who are eligible (Spencer) havent entered PBA draft yet or the B league., even if they are currently available.

Essentially SBP is acting like POEA now, and is regulating who gets to work overseas and for which employer, downright disgraceful
Sorry but Ive been doubting your timelines for eligibility ever since Ange failed to get his exception which you were clamoring for as soon as he got his citizenship. We really have to see, other than Ange is there any other example of someone weve tried to excempt that has been here for like only five years? I think Ive read BGR tried but failed, anyone else?

SOCIAL MEDIABrandon Ganuelas-Rosser won’t fulfill his dream of suiting up for Gilas Pilipinas after the International Basketball Federation denied his request to play. Coming off a solid showing in the Southeast Asian Games in Phnom Penh last May, Ganuelas-Rosser wrote the FIBA to have himself cleared “but there’s no luck with that.” Brandon is the […]

That clearance according to an agent I talked to is yearly clearance need by B.League. it like getting a world import. That is the same clearance Wright is processing not a clearance to check whether he is a local Filipino. Similar to Spencer as he is recognized as Filipino already by Fiba.

                              • To be explicit I'm referring to securing a FIBA ID with a local classification, do note not all U18, or youth players have a FIBA local classification, some played under a NP classification ID,
Also note as a dual citizen (fil forigner) with a passport before 16 years old , it is not automatic one will secure a FIBA ID with local classification. their names still have to be submitted to FIBA to be issued that ID as a local ( this is the FIBA clearance i'm talking about not other types
