OK, we still need the PBA, but I don't think we need it that much.

Point is, we need just a few outstanding PBA players at their positions.

Only indispensable players now are Malonzo and Navarro, because they're the ones that are hard to replace for now."A king may move a man, a father may claim a son, but that man can also move himself, and only then does that man truly begin his own game. Remember that howsoever you are played or by whom, your soul is in your keeping alone, even though those who presume to play you be kings or men of power, when you stand before God, you cannot say, 'But I was told by others to do thus,' or that virtue was not convenient at the time. This will not suffice." - King Baldwin IV

It's just that, I think we don't need too many PBA players after this point, not many of those guys are irreplaceable at the FIBA level. I'm just pissed off at the SBP for discontinuing what could have been a promising program, and the PBA for hijacking it and just filling the roster with stars instead of helping with the program. Now we have to start from start from scratch again.

PBA has an age problem, and is concerning. Those who are in the age of 22-30, you can only count in 1 hand, who have superstar potential. Malonzo, Navarro....uhmmmm Ricci and Balti???
The supposed CURRENT batch of superstars ( Kieffer, Bollick, Parks, Wright, ) all left for the much better league in Japan. Age 27-30.
The NEXT batch of superstars, the players that will carry the torch for the PBA in the next 5-10 years, didnt even think of applying for the draft (Paras, Dwight, RJ, SJ, Edu, JDGL, Carl, Rhenz, Thirdy) and went straight abroad Age 22-26

Come to think of it Gilas has some promising young players (Lebron Lopez, Kenneth Tuffin, Mason Amos, Schonny Winston) that they could develop. And if the rumors are true that Dalph Panopio is transferring to Ateneo next season then Gilas could have that pure point guard that it needs.お元気ですか?

I think if TC is in charge he’ll get the good rookies and younger players. Since we’re starting again it makes sense to pick younger players. JB will probly be the NP. Who will be the C among the young guys? Is Laput eligible?
The good thing about TC is he is a decent development coach. And he is not as asa sa import as you think. I think JB has the least minutes among imports. TC manages JBs minutes so he is used to importless 5s.

PBA MVP Scottie Thompson has more turnover (8.) than score (5) and assist (7) in the group stage of FIBA World Cup.
