but as greenarcher said, our nationalist bcap and pba board won’t like this
Jeff Napa, he has been great defensively, but I dunno if he can adjust his style to accommodate taller, longer wings like Lucero, Navarro, Oftana. Let's see if he can make it next season.

Now, Thirdy is not even a contender for the remaining spot in the WC-bound team.
We were too high on his highlight blocks and defensive prowess but did not notice the lack of shooting, shakey handles and decision making.
On the other hand Abando, late to the game, entered the UAAP with a silky jumper. He also was slim and looked like a perimeter player despite having the shakey handles of most homegrowns at his height.
I dont know if it is all the weight lifting but the guy has no pulse. His father had the worst shooting form but seemed to have a better 3FG. His father was athletic and muscular but not overblown with muscles like Thirdy is. It seems he has too much muscles. He lacks versatility in his attacks and is predictable probably because he his muscles impede his movement.

Wisful thinking for now.
If ever theirs a plan to parade a new set of coaches for our Batang Gilas boys team, as much as possible he/she should not be connected nor affiliated to any local schools because we don’t want to repeat what happened before when coach E and coach Franz still handles the squad and the rest is(not so good) history. Unless there would be an unanimous decisions amongst the college coaches not to act as Jack Sparrow if ever one of them will be nominated to handle the lads. On a very personal note I rather assign either coach Nenad of Meralco or coach Gorunovic of TNT to handle the boys, both are not connected to any of the schools or universities unlike coach Tab and coach Rajko who is actively and directly involved in different schools.
We haven’t heard so much on our u16 kids after their SEABA tourney it seems that DDO Jr. is very much preoccupied(?) with the Senior team’s daily practice instead of focusing on the coming FIBA U16 in few weeks times..goodness grace.
