To fully utilize the overseas guys, a coach with a less shot-creating guard centric offense could do. Charles Tiu has a shot-creating guard in Oczon, but his offense creates opportunities for guys in other positions such as Corteza and Gozum. There's Tab, and also Goldwin Monteverde, who don't rely that much on shot-creating guards to the extent that the Reyes father and son duo do.

But those guys would make Chot's wet dreams come true. They're not only skilled offensively but their taller than their PBA counterparts and dare I say better?

He is hoping that JC can do it for us but we dont know if he is up to it. Worse is without a center NP our rim protection and rebounding is worse. He is hoping that Dwight can be JCs number 2 like against Lebanon. But with the teams defensive deficiencies I dont think we have enough offense to offset it. Malonzo is our PF, thats not gonna cut it against bigger teams. But lets see. The problem is Brownlee and Kouame will be in the tuneups. Those two will frontcourt help that we wont have with JC there.
Paris 2024 bara bara line up:
Backcourt/Wings - Sedrick Barefield, Remy Martin, Mikey Williams, JC, Brownlee, Dwight
Frontcourt - Kai, AJ, Jamie, Philips, BGR, Tamayo

if we qualify for Olympics and assuming Mikey is healthy, Chot can run his "your turn his turn" system. RHJ and Mikey won a Chip with that offense. We can upgrade the 1 position w/ Barefield as well to facilitate that. lol.

It seems Francis Lopez' ballhandling has improved a bit, and his shooting as well.
Mark Belmonte can move like a 6-foot-2/6-foot-3 shooting guard. I think he's quicker than 6-foot-5/6-foot-6 Gilas prospect wingmen like Dwight Ramos, Will Navarro, and has better handles than Jamie Malonzo & Calvin Oftana.
So our promising good size wings in collegiate basketball are Chico Briones, Mark Belmonte & Jonel Policarpio."A king may move a man, a father may claim a son, but that man can also move himself, and only then does that man truly begin his own game. Remember that howsoever you are played or by whom, your soul is in your keeping alone, even though those who presume to play you be kings or men of power, when you stand before God, you cannot say, 'But I was told by others to do thus,' or that virtue was not convenient at the time. This will not suffice." - King Baldwin IV

dwight might be slower than our other guards/wings but he is very strong and has an explosive first step, makes him very good at finishing around the time. also has good timing on defense
as for francis lopez, as much as i hate to say this being a up fan, he might be ready for the b-league after a season or 2

but in the case of Nigeria why did they allow the likes of Jahlil Okafor who has already played for Team USA youth team to play in the Olympic roster. Can someone confirm if all of those American-Nigerians had Nigerian passport before 16?Manifesting: Philippines top 5 in the FIBA World Rankings

I'm still on the fence with Bolick, Juan, and RJ vs. Scottie, Castro and Terrence, though. The overseas guys are taller, but I dunno with better. Still better options than guys like Lee, Jalalon, Nambatac.
